My last 2-3 online orders have been wrong but nothing too terrible and I could still enjoy my food.
This particular day, Friday, Jan 26th, both my sandwiches were COMPLETELY wrong. Wrong kind of cheese. I just KNEW they ran out of spinach.. mostly bread and hardly ANY ingredients.. no sauce.. just wrong.
I called the store to try and let them know and as soon as I said “Hi, my name is Brittney..” the representative immediately started screaming at me that I need to stop calling there and I can not go visit the store in person. I’m immediately confused and trying to explain to the representative that this was my first time calling and she must have me confused with someone else. She just yelled over me the entire time and then hung up in my face. Imagine getting less than great customer service with errors on ALL of your orders and then being spoken to in that manner THE FIRST TIME you finally decide to complain about it. And then to threaten me that I could not call or come up there after I paid for sandwiches that were made incorrectly was beyond horrible and emotionally damaging. I had to take off work for the rest of the day because I was so frazzled, disrespected and disgusted.
Then I call back a few more times until someone finally answers and immediately request to speak with a manager. I’m told the manager isn’t available so I begin to explain my issue with the sandwiches. As soon as I say my name so that they know how to reference the order, the second person hung up in my face as well.
I had to drive up there again and explain what was happening to me. Then they finally realized I was not the “former employee looking for her W2” that was calling and harassing the store, but an actual customer with TWO COMPLETELY INCORRECT SANDWICHES. Apologizing and/or even correcting my sandwiches could never be enough at this point. I don’t want to spend my money or support this establishment. But they’re unable to refund me because the order was placed online. AND I TIPPED!! Imagine that!
Had someone just taken the time to LISTEN to me beyond my name, this would have all been avoided. Matter of fact, had my sandwiches been made correctly in the first place, there wouldn’t have been a reason for me to call. The behavior was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and I am...
Read moreRecently, we came in after the storm. We came to the restaurant and they told us that they had no more Italian herb cheese bread, so we waited for 20 minutes for more bread. After we waited for 20 minutes, we came back into the store and one of the employees told us that they had no more bread. Even though they had just told us to wait the 20 minutes. They ended up having the bread and it was burnt. While ordering, I asked for olives and every time I asked for more of something I would either get told that they couldn’t because of policy or that it would be extra. Every time my family and I come to the subway, there’s always a problem. When I asked for a little bit of something I got a lot, and when I asked for more I got a little. We ended up not even finishing our order and just leaving. Side note, while making our orders, another employee was constantly reaching and talking...
Read moreThe gay Spanish guy who made my sandwich. The meat looked a bit thin, so I jokingly asked if that was all I was getting. He chuckled and said he put 9pieces of ham instead of 8 I paid, ate in my car, and all I could really taste was the vegetables. I decided to look up how many pieces of ham I was supposed to get and found out it should have been 12. I didn't want to cause a fuss, but I felt a bit played, so I went back in and kindly asked for my 4 missing slices. He seemed a bit defensive but gave me the rest of my sandwich. As I glanced over, I noticed the Spanish customers' sandwiches looking full and delicious. It made me realize what was happening. After reading some reviews, it seems like more black people or none Spanish are receiving this type of service. Come on, Spanish folks, let's all just relax and avoid any unnecessary conflicts. Let's not start...
