Coming in for the first time The place looks more like a sports bar with weird booths that are angled up so your body may be a bit uncomfortable. The customer service is lacking, we didn’t have a person at the register for about 10-15 seconds. No greeting, or welcome. She just asked what we wanted and seemed a bit impatient. Sorry our business makes you upset? As for food, it was quite good, we had the monthly special with the Queso Blanco Chicken Pizza, it’s a medium pizza for $10. Not bad at all usually the medium is $14.99 I believe. It comes with chicken, queso sauce, tomatoes, and cilantro. The blend is perfection and tastes like a nacho pizza almost. I don’t know what queso they use but I fell in love with it. The crust is nice and soft with a crunch at the end. I probably wouldn’t dine in again but might visit monthly just to try the special pizza.

At this moment, after having gorged myself on the buffet, I really hate this place. The pizza was entirely too delicious and I couldn't stop eating. I'm absolutely miserable right now, yet am still tempted by another trip to the buffet. Maybe I've been eating at Cici's too often but this is the best pizza buffet I've had in years. It's on the small side but the variety is good and the pizza rolls are downright dangerous. As of right now I'm swearing this place off, but I'll probably be back as soon as I recover and get hungry again.

The salad bar is real nice. Our pizza came out very quick. The $12.59 pepperoni didn't have much cheese on it. Comparable to Little Caesar's. But the $2.99 one-trip salad was a good deal. Friendly service, pizza brought to the table, asked if we need a to-go box, too. Pizza tasted good, but the crust has a faint sweet taste that we don't care for.

Been going here for a long time now. The food is delicious, don't get me wrong. We used to go as a corporate group because the food was amazing. But the service, or at least whoever manages their online ordering, is a complete idiot and will cost them customers.

I ordered food from them the other night. The total was around $20. When the food was delivered, part of the order was missing. Ok, this happens so I call the restaurant. They immediately know who's calling about what and tell me that there was no more bread to make my sandwich with. Alright... 1. How do you run out of bread as a restaurant? 2. Why couldn't you call me BEFORE delivering? I'm told that there's no problem, that the order will only be charged for what I received but it may take a couple more days to go through. This was supposed to be approximately $16. Remember, this all happened two nights ago. I just got the confirmation today for the original $20 order.

So you can't give your customers the respect or time of day to call and say "hey, we won't be delivering your entire order because we don't know how to inventory" and you can't fix an order and thus overcharge a formerly good customer? Goodbye Double Dave's. You've lost my business and gained an avid enemy. Believe me when I say that people will...

If I could give 10 stars for Service I would! Maria, Miriam and Gabby where the nicest hosts and helped me feel so welcome and cared for on my first visit to Double Dave's. I live in the area and was familiar with this location but had not visited a double dave's since I lived in College Station, up at Texas A&M University 35 years ago. My experience was so nice. They added new food to the buffet when they realized it was my first visit. They really know how to take care of a customer and give them a great experience. They were all happy and it showed. Thank you ladies for giving me a great experienc on my first visit back to Double Dave's in more than 35 years. Plus I talked about their buffet to my friend who loves to support local and lives down the street. We talked about going back together soon. I think you should give it a try if you haven't been in a while. Thank you Double Dave's Westheimer near...

For years I have enjoyed bringing my friends and family in for pizza nights, and ordering for delivery was never a problem until midway through 2008. I found this location to be selective to the consumers in its locale during peak delivery times, regardless of how often its frequent customers order (and tip well). I would think any decent business would pay attention to that, even show a little appreciation to its frequent clientele.

After a recent visit with a friend to enjoy the Dallas-stomping-the-Giants game, my faith was restored by Gabriel S., an attentive manager that showed no haste into going the extra mile to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable and worth a returned visit. He was a true exhibition of CRM, and seemed to bring the place together as if it were his home. That's the type of service you should expect to see anywhere you go, something I hope won't be unique to this...
