Been looking at this place for a nice little minute I decided to go last night:) upon me entering the establishment I was greeted with a smile and a warm greeting ordered my food as posted below and sat down even though I thought it was ridiculous to pay two dollars for a can of soda but no problem he said people have to make a living which is true but still ridiculous lol moving on, my daughter got her nachos which came out cold as if they have been sitting under a warmer but not under a warmer if you get what I mean told the guy he said he’ll remake it he came back my daughter said the food was warm but it wasn’t hot she still ate it . My other daughter on the other hand wasn’t able to finish her food she ate a cup of Elote and ate a small portion of her quesadilla I knew something had to be wrong because my daughter never leaves any food left over I was consistently tasting mine the whole time I was eating and something just felt wrong the food tasted good but I had a feeling something was wrong so I paid no mind to it as upon me leaving after cleaning up I get back home about an hour later my daughter starts to throw up and cough uncontrollably she threw up all of her food and me on the other hand had a massive headache started to regurgitate as well I really hate that I had to go through this I had such high hopes for this place considering that I love Birra tacos and also the quesadillas didn’t really have much meat in it and it didn’t taste like chicken it tasted like ham complete waste of $46.

Quick Review: great birria style tacos. The meats served are great and the restaurant is clean with a friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Pricing is 10-15 area per person. Long Review: Tried this location for the first time today. Overall experience was great. I will definitely be returning again and again. Food - The location serves birria tacos and quesadillas. They have smoked chicken and shredded beef meat options. I tried both and they are both amazing. The consumme that comes with it is flavorful and has a cumin, star anise, clove, and cinnamon hints in it. It pairs perfectly with the beef. Service - The staff was friendly and helpful. They took the order quickly and were great. The food was delivered to my table in less than 5 minutes hot and fresh. The cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent as well. Everything was clean and nice. Atmosphere - This is definitely a causal restaurant. They have purple neon lighting and music playing which was a mix of dance music from a few years ago. It made a great mood environment that was relaxed. Music volume was great. Loud enough to hear quiet enough you could carry a conversation with raising your voice. Overall Opinion - Great service and amazing food. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I will be a repeat customer.

I wanted pizza but got this instead. Very cool vibe on the inside, I noticed was the only guy in there. Maybe 2 others showed up during lunch. I spent maybe about $35/36 dollars, that's including tax and tip. I got the quesebirria tacos and the loaded fries. I asked the front end guy about if anything was spicy, fries have a little kick but acceptable, so I ordered those. The tacos were great, dipping them in the soup really enhanced the flavor. Felt like most the meat got lumped in the middle of the taco and not spread out though. The fries were drenched in 2 sauces, chipolte aioli sauce and what tasted like BBQ sauce. There's an abundance of potatoes, the fries can be easily spit between 2 or 3 individuals. I understand it's a specialty taco but dang near 15 bucks for 3 is a bit high up there. My fries were drenched in sauce and I couldn't eat most of it because of how spicy it was from all the sauce. I want to say the tacos were the only redeeming thing. This place would definitely be a date spot though that you could explore new food with new people. The guy at the counter was nice. I likely won't eat here again due to pricing as well as the fries being inedible.

In short: overpriced, mediocre tacos that were too small. Restaurant itself had an identity crisis between playing OG Houston rap alongside pop hits from 2013-2020, with a dark interior.

In long: Visited yesterday with a family member looking to grab a quick bite. When we walked in, we were looking forward to the food since we had seen a lot online about it and the pictures looked great. The door showed that they were open until 4am, which had me hopeful that this would be a great post bar hopping spot to come with my friends. Upon seeing the menu, I saw that 3 quesabirria tacos and consume were $15. Definitely on the high end for tacos, but I understand that the taco market isn't what it used to be and that I need to adjust myself to expensive tacos, because the world isn't adjusting to me (bring back $1 tacos!). I asked the cashier (counter service) for a water cup, to which he told me they have bottles of water. I asked if I could just have a cup for water, he said they don't do that. Asked him if I could just have a regular cup and use it for water, to which he said that he would hook it up for me. I've never been to a restaurant that has refused water cups, instead opting to have you pay $2.50 for a bottle of water. Whatever, I got my cup, not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

When the food came out, I was shocked at how little the tacos were. I was hoping they would be bigger in person, and that the pictures were just poor angles. Nope, if anything, the pictures made them look bigger. Compared to other places with $15 birria, these were half the size. I was hoping the flavor itself would make up for the size, but I was disappointed by that too. The meat itself was on the bland side, which was disappointing. They weren't bad by any means, but they weren't good, let alone $15 good. The consume was fine. Not the best, not the worst.

For the price, you'll pay the same at a place like Dona Letis, get enough food to feed you for 3 lunches but tastes so good you'll regret eating it all in 1.

I might end up back here in the future, but it likely won't be when I'm sober, and it definitely won't be when other...

First timers! My husband and I were looking for something to eat since I get off work late. We literally live like 5 mins away and have never ate here. Last night we drove by around 11:30pm and no cars were in the parking lot and we saw no one inside but the open sign was on, the lights were on. We kept driving. Got gas, still couldn't find something good or decent that was still open that late on a Wednesday night. We drove back and noticed a man standing out front with a black hat, a purple shirt with black pants. I said he gotta work there 😂 we drove around an pulled up, probably scared him how fast we was going. He was glancing at his phone and we asked if they was open, replied with, "yes y'all can come on in." That made our day. We parked went inside the gentleman that was out front that helped us inside told us he was a manager from the downtown location. Service was amazing, top tier even though we were the only ones in there it didn't take no longer than 5 minutes for that parking lot to fill up because people started seeing cars. I'm sure they assumed like we did they were closed because the parking lot was dead. We got the smoked chicken fries, the smoked chicken nachos, and the smoked chicken tacos. It was so good. Flavorful and fresh. We were going to take it to go but the manager suggested we dine in only because the portion size was way different. dine-in you get a lot and to-go it comes in like a small box not worth the money if you take it to-go but definitely worth the money if you stay and dine in. We split the food and we were both full when we left and satisfied. Atmosphere was good. The music was good which set the vibe. Overall I would definitely come back and suggest this to friends... Great first experience. We were not the only first timers that night and others...
