I dined with a group of 7 friends here for lunch. We had been on the Houston ship channel boat tour and were looking for something not to far away. We saw that this place had overall good reviews and what better to have when on Houston's east end than Mexican food! Service was prompt, the place is very clean and while it has a decor reminiscent of the 1960's with it's metal trimmed Formica counters and brightly painted walls it had a nice homey feeling like a good neighborhood diner should! We all got something different, I opted for a lighter lunch and had the grilled fish which came with rice and a salad and some steamed vegetables. The fish had nice spice to it, not to hot or anything but aromatic. I think it might have been tilapia but it was very fresh. Others has enchiladas and tacos and all were good. Our server kept our drinks refilled, we were so hot when we arrived. Was this the best Mexican food I have had? Well, maybe not but it was cooked and served by people who apparently love what they do and want to please their customers.

Came here for the 1st time to eat. I expected it better since it had alot of good reviews. Definitely a disappointment my son's pancakes were super burn on the bottom to the point I couldn't even cut it bcuz it was so hard. And my father ordered flour tortillas for his plate that when she brought his plate the flour tortillas wasn't ready to the point it took up to 15- 20mins MORE for the tortillas to come out. Like cmon you post to bring the order of tortillas with the plate so you can eat it right away. So by the time the tortillas came out after 15-20mins more my father's plate was a bit cold by then. The waitress didnt apologize or anything that they were super rude about it. One of the waitress said with a attitude that it's still cooking. Like really it takes 15 to 20 minutes MORE to cook just TWO TORTILLAS . That's freaking RIDICULOUS. ...

This restaruant has no manager to speak with their server attitude . I been coming here 3 times because my husband introduce me how great is there breakfast here . So my last visit for today which is the 3 time Didn't go so well . Today my waitress who was warring a skirt well the shortest shirt gave us a horrible service nasty attitude . The other one when we came in she didn't came to bring us menu ,and took her 15-25min to get to our table.. She took forever to get to our table and my husband and gets up several time ...
