I could not get my full shopping experience because I was tracked from the beginning. I walked in and spotted a cot near the window; so I took my cart around to check it out. (I have teen sons and am an Army veteran,) so I unfolded and expanded it. A (non-english speaking) woman approached me. She works there. When I noted that there was no price on the cot, she just mimicked, 'no price,' and pointed out the flaws of the cot. I guess they just decorate the store with donations, because, with all of the no-price items in the store, they can not be selling anything. I moved a little bit further down, to the movies and cd's. The same woman returns and stalks me!! Damnit, am I missing something here?? Do people really go to the thrift stores to steal 30 year old cd's?? WTH!! I was there because my husband works down the street, but it was much better before the storm. Before the store closed, I could shop with confidence and without anxiety. I rarely get out in the day, and shopping around is a great escape for me (as long as there are no crowds or stalkers). I did manage to get(buy) 6 cd's for relaxation, although I really wanted to explore the store. I barely made it past the door....

I went to value village at 6425 Harrisburg Houston TX 77011 on 3/17/2022 @ 6pm and I asked to see a pair of womens shoes behind the counter they were priced at $30 which to me it was already high but I tried one shoe on and it fit. I really liked the shoes and decided to take them. When I got home I noticed that the shoes were different sizes one was a 7 and the other one was a 5. As I was leaving the store I notice the employee that rang me up kept looking at me and I thought it was weird. When I noticed the different size shoes I knew that they knowingly put the shoes up for sale knowing there were different sizes. It is sad that they would do this because no one wears a size 7 and 5 and to me that seems like they are trying to scam customers specially knowing that value village does not do returns or exchanges and all sales are final.

They have a variety of items organized by colors and somewhat by styles But you do have to keep looking for your size all around the store because they don’t focus on that. The isles are pretty spacious so that’s good Things I didn’t like: •They have no changing room for you to use. •Some shoes are extremely used! •The cashier was a bit rude she had her own conversation with another cashier (which is fine idc) But I was in line waiting to be called and she just yelled out of the blue “are you gonna pay?!” I said well yes, im in line right? Then she just waved for me to go to her… There’s no need for that.

Absolutely awful. Items are junk. Anything decent is way overpriced. Jeans new with tag original price $68, they have priced $48! Wha??? The jeans are likely several seasons if not years old. They’re worth no more than $7 since they were a mall brand. A very very ok’d pair of Miss Me jeans - $20. Really! They’re ok’d and even newer ones are no longer on trend. Prescut Star of David pattern small bowl $6.80. Same bowl in other thrifts - $0.99. Shoes? Not a recognizable brand that’s wearable. The brands that are wearable - $16-$25. Same price they probably are in discount stores new. Can do...
