Read moreEpicure Bakery (or Cafe) is a place I always go either before or after watching a movie at the nearby theater. This place definitely have one of the best European style pastries / cakes. The cafe is very popular so expect a crowd and possibly not able to get a table so if you have a group of people coming here, have someone sit at the table while others order from the counter.
If you are just here for coffee, tea, cookies, or cake, just go up to the cake display and an employee will get it for you and then bring it to the cash register for you to pay. If you're ordering food, go to the cash register and order from there. Please note that the water is right next to the pillar in the middle of the cafe and it's self serve. When you order food, they will also bring out free rolls and butter. Those rolls are really good.
Some of my favorite cakes there are strawberry napoleon, lemon tart, and pistachio cake. Their coffee is good as well and does pair nicely with the sweet desserts. I have tried their food and it's always hit or miss. But if you get any type of croissant sandwich, it will mostly be good as they do have one of the best croissant in town. This place is definitely a good cafe for a day / evening date place as you can socialize with your significant other over some...
Read moreWe ordered three entree salmon, Shrimp avocado salad and chicken skewers with rice. I noticed a very strong odor, I thought is probably a spiced used in my rice, I tried twice, I also give a sample to my two guests, and immediately taste that the rice was bad, we all agree.I told the young lady at the counter that the rice was so bad, and also the chicken skewers were charred close to burnt, the chicken tastes very sour and lemony. They are not having any type of good health practices. The shrimp avocado salad I can taste the Mayo & Ketchup, what a great and sophisticate palate. I cannot say nothing about the salmon, I didn't ask what or where is it from. When we were leaving, I asked the two young ladies at the counter if they checked the rice, and both confirm that the rice was spoiled and it was thrown away, still charge the full price. In regards of service, I don't consider this is a good service. Pastries looking good. We got 3 fresh drinks, don't understand why it's saying fresh, my was POM juice out of a bottle. Very disappointed ☹️...
