Nestled in the heart of River Oaks within the bustling River Oaks shopping center, this café-persian bakery is an absolute gem. Its quaint charm is evident from the moment you step inside, and the offerings within are nothing short of delightful.

Indulging in the array of cakes and Persian baked goods, I was treated to a culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The standout, however, was the impeccable tea selection, which is served in the most elegant and ingenious tea infuser cups I've ever come across.

During my visits, I had the pleasure of savoring the princess cake, rolled cake, napoleon cake, and strawberry cake. To say they exceeded expectations would be an understatement; each cake was a masterpiece of flavor and artistry.

The café's popularity is evident, as it tends to be bustling with patrons. This only adds to the allure, as the consistently crowded space is a testament to the phenomenal quality of the food and experience.

For those seeking traditional treats, the café boasts an assortment of cookies perfect for Persian New Year celebrations. The attention to cultural detail is truly commendable.

Convenient parking, shared with Steinway Piano, adds a practical touch to the overall delightful experience. If you're looking for a charming café-persian bakery that delivers on both taste and ambiance, look no further than this hidden treasure...

Epicure Bakery (or Cafe) is a place I always go either before or after watching a movie at the nearby theater. This place definitely have one of the best European style pastries / cakes. The cafe is very popular so expect a crowd and possibly not able to get a table so if you have a group of people coming here, have someone sit at the table while others order from the counter.

If you are just here for coffee, tea, cookies, or cake, just go up to the cake display and an employee will get it for you and then bring it to the cash register for you to pay. If you're ordering food, go to the cash register and order from there. Please note that the water is right next to the pillar in the middle of the cafe and it's self serve. When you order food, they will also bring out free rolls and butter. Those rolls are really good.

Some of my favorite cakes there are strawberry napoleon, lemon tart, and pistachio cake. Their coffee is good as well and does pair nicely with the sweet desserts. I have tried their food and it's always hit or miss. But if you get any type of croissant sandwich, it will mostly be good as they do have one of the best croissant in town. This place is definitely a good cafe for a day / evening date place as you can socialize with your significant other over some...

We ordered three entree salmon, Shrimp avocado salad and chicken skewers with rice. I noticed a very strong odor, I thought is probably a spiced used in my rice, I tried twice, I also give a sample to my two guests, and immediately taste that the rice was bad, we all agree.I told the young lady at the counter that the rice was so bad, and also the chicken skewers were charred close to burnt, the chicken tastes very sour and lemony. They are not having any type of good health practices. The shrimp avocado salad I can taste the Mayo & Ketchup, what a great and sophisticate palate. I cannot say nothing about the salmon, I didn't ask what or where is it from. When we were leaving, I asked the two young ladies at the counter if they checked the rice, and both confirm that the rice was spoiled and it was thrown away, still charge the full price. In regards of service, I don't consider this is a good service. Pastries looking good. We got 3 fresh drinks, don't understand why it's saying fresh, my was POM juice out of a bottle. Very disappointed ☹️...

We came here on a Sunday afternoon to have lunch with family. We stopped here because it was close by to where we were and the pictures of the food looked good. Glad we decided to try this place as everything we ate tasted very good and the ambience was exactly what we were looking for. A small dinner that wasn’t too loud so that we could talk amongst ourselves. There was plenty of people when we visited but it was a quiet and personal setting. We ordered quite a few different dishes and a total of about 5 different plates. I usually rate my visits based on the coffee alone and I’m glad to report that the lattes here are made well. Will happily visit back if I’m around this side of town.

What a quaint little cafe in the heart of the River Oaks district off West Gray St! It’s a simple bakery/cafe with a lunch menu consisting of soups & sandwiches as well as a nice selection of coffees. I opted for a cookie with powdered sugar and a raspberry filling along with a delicious cafe au lait. The service was good and it was very clean with plenty of seating. The location is fantastic, a few doors down from the River Oaks Theater making for an excellent stop after a movie. Or a quick break after some shopping. There’s plenty of parking behind the shopping strip or on the street. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
