Golden Seafood — Restaurant in Houston

I've coming to this restaurant for years and I love this place. Until today i haven't been out since the virus and I really want to take my mom somewhere nice. This place was in my first thought. But when I got in here. Its was the same ladies but they different. For the first time I felt my color of my skin was a problem the looks alone my God when you first walk in the sigh says seat yourself so we went to the back and ask the lady was it ok she said yes so I sat down with my mother a we were excited away from everyone so we could enjoy and talk suddenly the comes in this area is close I mean just like that no sighs posted or nothing just it close but your sigh said seat yourself and we were already seated I got upset I order my moms food to go but I was so disappointed I just didn't want to eat the whole atmosphere is different now let me know when black people are welcomed here again and I'll come back til then ill just keep my distance I just can't get how you close part of a restaurant on the middle of the day and why say it's ok to seat and make us move again I just don't get it I love this place just let me know when you need my money again and the food took so long I was almost late for work this place has changed so much but I get it Mexicans only we got the lady was so rude and our food sat on the delivery table for atleast 20 minutes all the lady...

If i could of giving this visit a zero i would have but i can't so it will be a one. Ive been there many times before and have enjoyed myself and the mangoritas are great but this time was horrible. I know its a confusing time for everyone with all the rules for corona virus and all but there's no reason for the person at the door be that rude. They made us wait outside for 10 mins because they were suppost to take our temperature?(i never saw a thermometer) But another family walks up and they let them right on in. And when we said something she was rude and said oh they were noted to be seated next but had literally just gotten there. The family should of said something because clearly we were there first but they didnt. Anyway there was not even a list or did they take anyones temperature. We got the manager but all she did was apologize and seat us. She didnt even come back to check on us. I didnt even want to eat there anymore after that but hubs did. The food was bland at best. My mom and I frequent this local seafood restaurant. This day, the waitress walks up and of course asks if we are ready to order but in Spanish, I don't speak Spanish, but my mom does. Well my mom orders the Red Snapper, I get up to select the Red Snapper from the side counter cooler, because I wanted to select a small size snapper due to the high market price right now $35/lb. It ended up costing $38.91 came with side rice and salad. I first ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Botana $25, but nothing came along with it except 2 red potatoes and 2 corn on the cob, then I changed my mind and wanted the mixed meat low mein $14 and an order of egg rolls $4, order a dos xs and a soft drink for my mom. Waited really long time for our food, the waitress never took off the Jumbo Shrimp Botana, she brought out the low mein too. Way too much food, I was upset, because I know she heard me and she never once repeated the order. I ended up paying for all that food. I am so furious that her error ended up costing me, the customer. Waiters/Waitresses must repeat the order...
