El Manna Grill Pollo Asado — Restaurant in Houston

My buddy and I were looking for some lunch tacos. He suggested Manna. I had seen them before grilling whole chickens on an open grill.

This is no regular "Taco Truck." You walk up to a brightly decorated clean truck to order. Passing a row of grills filled with seasoned chickens.

Our grilled chicken was ready really fast and came with rice, charro beans, onions, tortillas, jalapeño, and salsa.

A meal for 2 for $20. Price was reasonable, and flavor was exceptional.

The packaging is top tier. Rivals any top take out restaurants.

There was so much food that I saved the rice and beans for today. They did not disappoint. I will be going...

I used to drive over an hour for their chicken (that’s how delicious it is) and I finally returned after a couple of years. Their portions are good and the plates come with a cup of beans, rice, a full onion, a pepper and plenty of tortilla.

Their business had grown so much. They have two trucks now and had hired more people. They grill the fresh chicken outside of the food trucks. The prices had definitely increased, but I understand because they had at least 6-7 people working there tonight. I would recommend their chicken and sausage to anyone. The sides of rice and beans are ok but not as good...

So I being coming here for years but I disappointed by the service .This is the third time that I did not received everything I ordered. Today I ordered a whole chicken for $20 dollars and I was missing a few pieces of chicken. And on the last two orders they did not gave me beans. Also, you need to ask for the salsa because they are not putting in the bag anymore.

Now I just notice I sign that they have , that you need to make sure you check your order before you leave because there’s return or money back.
