Flamingo Chill — Restaurant in Houston

We came here last night going off the reviews we've seen online. I got the Angelitos and she got the Tamarindo Pulpa Crema. Both of them were 1/5. The flavor was like medicine and the ice was more like a ice cream truck quality. These 2 items are in big pictures on the menu so we assumed it had to be good but no! We stood in line for about 20mins and waited about 30mins to get the food. Just going off that, it seems there is many ppl who love this restaurant. Maybe we need to ask them what to get because those were not it. Also. The churros had some type of filling in the middle that made it taste like candy. Completely killing the flavor of it. The place has nice seating and great vibes. As a lvl 8 reviewer who goes around trying places, I cannot recommend the raspas but I can recommend coming here to chill with friends and famiy. Sadly I drove 20min ride to come here i was enjoying the band and the food. Which I purchased a order nachos when I get to the bottom of nachos I found coins inside. I took back to window which i told the teen looking boy what happen he walked over to the older lady who was making the ice mold for the snow cone. As she was telling him to come tell me he was hesitant to tell me what she was telling him so she come over to the window I dont know who she was . I more upset due to the fact I didnt get apologize for the incident. Instead I got with its impossible money got there. I told her I dont know how it happened it there. Very disappointed in the service today. I’m a regular go three times a week today I went to the drive-through and I saw the owner leave. By the time I got around to the window my order was a disappointment. I ordered a Rossford that she only put flavor on the top so inside the cup was all just white ice no flavor down inside and when I asked for more at the window she put a little bit more but they were still white ice remaining We also ordered two corn‘s and both did not have much mayonnaise when you mix it it was just watery one of them had tomato and onion in it and both of them taste like onions.
