KP’s is a go-to rotation for our family ever since the restaurant opened in the neighborhood. My only question is how is it possible that Kerry, the owner, is always there greeting guests and taking orders and serving food when my friend who lives in the Memorial tells me the same thing about seeing him at the Memorial location? The man must never stop! Not only is Kerry amazing, but so is his staff. Recently, Kerry accommodated my rodeo sub committee for a quiet meeting in the private room on a weeknight (both he and his brother volunteer too and are very active serving the community). It was perfect. And most recently, he and his staff took care of 22 teens for homecoming dinner. He came up with a set menu including tax and gratuity which made it easy for our large group. The table was perfectly set and the group had an awesome time while parents had drinks and food at the bar. We had a bus pick the kids up to the dance and the staff helped us usher the kids to their next destination. Thank you Kerry and all your staff for making us feel like we’re at home every time we are there. And I forgot to mention the food is incredible and there is always some kind of food or drink special. It’s hard not to go...
Read moreWe chose to come here because I had driven by and saw the sign. It took the place of the old Genesis steakhouse. They were newly opened but despite that the service was impeccable and the food was excellent. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but it was early. We were seated immediately, and it got busier as time went on.
Service was attentive, we had our water refilled promptly and got our drinks quickly. The food came fairly quickly after ordering, not super fast but at a reasonable time. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered. My mother raved about the burger which is rare for her. I had a bite and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My crispy Asian salad with salmon was excellent. The dressing was punchy and sour in a good way, and the warm bean sprouts were a nice surprise. The grilled salmon was also good. My husband liked the hot chicken sandwich, said it wasn't very spicy but the chicken was cooked crispy and juicy. He also likes very spicy food so maybe his perception is skewed. He did eat the whole thing and all the house chips which tells me he enjoyed it all.
Overall we were very satisfied with our visit and will come again especially if the food and service continue to be as...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at KP's Restaurant in Bellaire, and it was an exceptional experience.
A standout dish that I can't stop thinking about is the Sweet and Sour Shrimp. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a delicious sauce that strikes the ideal balance between sweet and tangy. It's a must-try for anyone visiting!
The Rigatoni was also impressive, with a rich and hearty sauce that complemented the pasta beautifully.
Another highlight was the Crispy Artichoke. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to start their meal on a high note.
The soup of the day was Gumbo! It was rich, flavorful, and the perfect amount of spice.
The service was equally commendable. Chris, the general manager, was not only professional but also incredibly nice, making sure that our dining experience was top-notch. His attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction really shines through.
Overall, KP's Restaurant is a fantastic spot with daily specials that keep things fresh and exciting. If you're in the Bellaire area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal that...
