La Monarca — Restaurant in Houston

Fairly new store, I was only there for a couple of minutes. The shop was crowded but we got served fairly quickly. They have tons of ice cream flavors ranging from cheesecake to almond coffee to red velvet. And they serve mangonadas, chicharrones, spicy cheetos with cheese, elote, banana splits, etc. There really is a lot to choose from the menu. However, one negative is that they only have a few tables with a few chairs and the shop is pretty small, so it's not the best place to go hang out with friends (but if you brought a small group, like 2-3 other people, it shouldnt be a problem). Overall, I would definitely go back for the food (even though I would take my food somewhere...

Please update the opening time, to the time this establishment really opens. We were there at 11AM an hour later from 10AM. They don’t open at 10AM on Sundays, we drove at least 30 minutes, plus traffic and when we arrived, we saw the employees at the front, we waited to see if they would noticed us or at least let us know about the time, but they just moved their fingers and said no. Just left from trying for the first time. OMG this Mixed Fruit Agua Fresca is sooooo refreshing!! Mango, Watermelon, and Strawberry.... YUMMY!! Both ladies were super nice and welcoming. Even though there was a slight language barrier, we figured things out together, and she had a bright smile the entire time. The other lady told me she's still learning English, I told her no worries and no rush, she'll definitely get it in no time. Both ladies were full of smiles. I can't wait to go back and try...
