El Costeñito (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

I have been here 3 times since I became aware of this food truck. The first time, it took them about 30 mins. To give me my order (didn't say anything). The 2nd time, the wait time was the same or longer (didn't say anything). This last time, I thought that if I called my order ahead of time, it would be better.. NOPE! Called the order in at 7:41p arrived and paid at 8:16p. At about 835p I asked for a refund...food was actually still NOT READY! The lady became upset and made in comment about "some people have waited hours". confused and I responded, "you're proud of that?" She was trying to waste time so the food came out and complaining that the food was going to be charged to her. The cook finally brings the food and rudely states, "here, there's the food"...I said, "...and that's where it's going to stay". I got my money back. Almost an hour is ridiculous for any order. I will say...food is great, but not worth wasting my time over. I will definitely not...

The food was good but there are many issues. I'm not sure if this was a normal weekend or not but the wait time was atrocious. I called through the phone to place my order and was given an estimate. We got there, and the food wasn't ready. I understand it's an estimate but I had to wait 30-50 more minutes to receive my food. Furthermore, after I got home I checked my order and was missing an order of 5 tacos. I had to drive back and receive my food. I guess that was my fault for not checking it but in honesty, I just wanted to leave that place.

PS; 5 tacos for 15...

I would not recommend this food truck at all, which is why I gave it one star. The wait time was ridiculously long, even though there weren’t many people ahead of me, and it felt like they had no sense of urgency. On top of that, the customer service was very poor no greeting, no updates about my order, and when I asked a question, the staff seemed annoyed instead of helpful. By the time I finally got my food, I was already frustrated, and the whole experience left a bad impression. Between the unnecessary wait and the rude attitude, I don’t see myself ever...
