Dishonest and Unprofessional

My friend came to this shop with fair communication about what was wanted, even having messages to prove they described the request with no less than 90% accuracy. Despite this, the artist completely disregarded what they discussed and then had the audacity to gaslight them, insisting it was never explained it properly.

When my friend pointed out the inconsistency, instead of taking accountability, they refused to refund my friend’s deposit and would only reschedule them—for another deposit. She tried to be reasonable, but they clearly care more about squeezing extra money out of clients than providing decent service.

Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that respects both your time and your money. I myself have gone to at least a dozen shops and have had over 30 pieces done and haven’t heard of this happening let alone more than a day before the actual session.

I highly recommend this tattoo studio. I had work done by @xiaotattoo_xxm and @c.x.dotline while she was working there. The artists are very friendly, the shop is super clean and they do an amazing job! I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo.

Update (12/30): Got another tattoo with Xiaomeng and it looks amazing. Had a 5.5 hr session with her and the tattoo came out and healed perfectly. The shop is super clean and they also offered me snacks, chocolate, and bevs for the long session. Even while already expecting it to look perfect, Xiaomeng still managed to exceeded my expectations! I put all of my trust in you....

I got 3 conch piercings at a big name shop in Houston a few months back but the healing process didn’t go well. I went to San and April informed me the shop that pierced them used the wrong type of jewelry resulting in slower healing and hypertrophic scarring. She then told me what I needed to do and changed out the jewelry for the correct ones. After cleaning and replacing, my piercings have begun healing correctly and are much improved from their previous state. Would highly recommend April for any piercing work...
