Very very disappointed in Laredo Tacos this morning. The feeling of uncomfortable, feeling embarrassed, borderline liar/thief is how they made me feel over 2 tacos. The sad and crazy part is I’ve come here for 16 years. On Saturday always on Patton and on Sunday always on Cavalcade with Joe. So today is Saturday, I went to the Patton location. I ordered and paid for 12 tacos. 2 fajita, 2 barbacoa, 8 potato and eggs (6 no beans and 2 with beans). I get home, I’m short 2 tacos. I feed the kids, and I head back within 15 mins (I live 3 blocks away), go up to the counter who teller has probably been there the whole time I’ve been going and who I always talk to. I let her know, she gives me the look like “it sucks to be you.” Then she tells me, every foil packet had 2 tacos, I said yes. I had 5 packet which is 10. She then turns to the lady, and says “el dices le falta 2 tacos yo no se” then she turns to me, where the bag of tacos? I’m like what? I said “I fed the kids and came back so they wouldn’t get cold.” The lady who serves she said, “ I made you 2 fajita, 2 barbacoa, 4 potato no beans and 2 potato with beans.” Boom. I’m not a scholar by no means, but with all 10 of my fingers I can count and that’s 10. So I’m thinking ok, well that solves the issue. She didn’t make me the other 2, no harm no foul just make them and I’m on my way. But... the counter cashier said, “pues no se” “well I don’t know”. I’m like what???? I said, “she just told you how many she made, and you agreed I paid for 12, so that was 10.” She still didn’t budge, there wasn’t a “hey make 2 more cause by everyone math on earth that’s 10 and he paid for 12.” I felt embarrassed, she made me feel ashamed. Good thing one of the other lady there who I believe is probably manager/owner who also I always see chat with. She said, “I’ll just make them for you.” Although she gave them to me, I still felt that feeling like I was in the wrong. Guess I’ll go to cavalcade on Saturday and Sunday chat it up Joe from now on. Beware, Patton location has gotten complacent, sometimes, when someone works in position too long they need a change of scenery, maybe dishwasher so she came shame the dishes. DISAPPOINTED is really not even the word, when I got back, the 2 tacos ordered for myself barbacoa were cold. Good job Patton Laredo, you manage to kill 16 years of business over 2 tacos not because the mistake of not making them, the mistake when clearly when it was identified that correct number wasn’t made, you still decide to act like it I was still wrong. Good luck, I’ll suggest a class in customer service and maybe simple math classes to count to 20 even if you have to use your hands and toes, 20 should be a safe...

Read moreI have been passing up this Laredo taco shop on Patton and Fulton for a very very long time and I have never stopped until today! I must say the tacos are sooooo delicious! The tortillas the harina are made to perfection, literally perfection!! They have a great selection of food and it all taste so D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. Their food is not greasy at all so when they make your tacos and you leave to eat them whether it's in your car at work at home you won't have to worry about a soggy taco because soggy tacos don't exist at this location. Today I got 2 tacos de huevos rancheros 1 taco de huevo con nopales 1 taco de huevo con salchicha 1 taco de papa a la Mexicana and 1 taco de chorizo Mexicano con huevo and that's the most greasiest taco of the world, but not here. My tortilla was dry not 1 drip of grease coming out not even after bitting it. I highly highly highly recommend this Laredo, they have great service their attitudes are positive very welcoming and very clean restaurant. I can't wait to go back FYI: The tacos are $3 and I think the meat ones are $4 but trust me they aren't stingy with the...
