Maggies Sabor Salvadoreño (The Pupusa Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

My husband and I have ordered from Maggie’s a couple of times now, and we can’t say enough good things about the food and service (atmosphere doesn’t really apply as it’s a food truck)! They are close to our home, and it’s convenient for us to get to which is a plus. But the food, oh my goodness! It’s delicious and authentic. All of the combinations of pupusas are delicious! My personal favorites are the pork and cheese and cheese. The size of one is very generous and fills me up. The salsa that comes with them is also very good, it’s spicy but not overpowering. I ordered from there yesterday, and it started to rain. While waiting I moved my car to a parking spot closer to the truck so I could easily jump out and grab my order in the rain. The guy that took my order was very proactive and actually grabbed it to bring it to my car window so I wouldn’t have to get out in the rain. So needless to stay the customer service is phenomenal.

They will take your order even if you don’t speak Spanish! (If you know, you know…). While I am bilingual in English and Spanish and can easily order my food in Spanish, my husband cannot. He has had to order our food on his own, and they have never looked down on him for not speaking Spanish and have always been incredibly helpful!

We love Maggie’s so much, and will not be frequenting any other pupuseria...

I go to this Fiesta all the time and I was so excited to see a food truck here because it’s been a while and I was starving today. I ordered before shopping and it only took 10 minutes for it to be ready. The owner (I think) was super kind, had great customer service, explained the menu and options to me, and even showed me pictures of what they’ll have available soon. I was in a hurry the whole time I was in the store because I couldn’t wait to eat the pupusas I got and they were so worth it! My whole family was amazed at how delicious they were and how affordable. Everything was quick, hot, super fresh, and tasted great. I’m glad to have such a good restaurant...

I pass by this food truck almost every week after grocery shopping. I finally decided to give it a try and placed an order via Instagram. The ordering process was so easy, they have the menu set up nice and easy for you to pick!

My food was ready quick and once I arrived they were so kind! The food was delicious 10/10 I ordered the cheese pupusa, the pork and cheese as well and it did not disappoint.

Pupusas I try are normally dry especially after reheating them but not these! That’s what I really loved about them besides the flavor.

Definitely recommending and definitely going back!...
