The Escape Game Houston (Galleria) — Attraction in Houston

The escape game Houston Galleria was a great experience. The staff I would rate 5+ stars. The actual room is what brought the rating down to 4.

First things - the staff. The young lady that welcomed us and greeted us when we booked the room and when we came back was nice. She was polite let us know there was a little wait and that there was the possibility that others would join us because we didn’t book the full room. I was super happy that no one booked the other 3 spots. The game master - Adel - she was sweet and kind. Barely 2 minutes into the game she asked us to step out and paused the game so she could fix something because she saw that it would effect our gameplay. They give unlimited hints but we decided as a group we only wanted three. The hints were perfect and didn’t give anything away and just helped us to locate the clues we weren’t seeing.

The escape room - we played the special ops room. It was a fun room and we were excited that we escaped with 19:07 left on the clock. The game play was good but I felt that it was lacking in the number of puzzles. Of our 5 players this was the 5th escape room for 2, 4th for 1, and 2nd for the other 2. We divided and conquered many of the puzzles but at times it seemed like one or two of us was always just watching. The variety of puzzles was good. They rate the difficulty as 8/10 but I would have rated it a 6/10. The people who played before us didn’t win so they may have said 8/10 difficulty level.

What a fun and challenging experience!! My best friend and I went on a Tuesday night and got the last slot for special ops. We completed it with one minute to spare! I had only been to one other escape room that was in the woodlands that was super disappointing because the props were broken and it affected our time. This place was clean, working, and challenging in a fun way. The room we did was meant for more people but we love a good challenge. I did well in the market and she excelled in the special ops room. I loved that we got to experience what felt like two games! This one really kept us excited to figure it out! Spencer (I believe?? )was great at helping with clues and making it enjoyable. We’re pretty stubborn with asking for clues so he was quick when we were ready lol my only recommendation you is blocking slots for people to go with just their group.
