I highly doubt by writing this review the owners will take action since the stereo type this place fits is similar to work environments lead by people very low standards. Yet I feel maybe my experience will lead other unsuspecting people, away, to a more healthy choice. I side with the people who speak about the staff being rude and racist as well, As they got upset with me, since I looked out of sheer concern when a customer, who had just taken a grated cheese shaker to his table and out loud announced, while walking back to hand it to a staff member, that the top layer of cheese ladened with mold.. The staff members who took my buffete order,( handed me the cup by holding where my mouth would go/ fingers inside)started tapping loudly on the register counter while trying to make it look they werent then watching me, just after pouring out the moldy cheese and returning it back to the silverware hutch. This happened very quickly. Any time im in a place like this in houston I always get the same gang stalking from people in this way. Ive often tried to find the logic behind this sort of behavior since the same staff member, in this case, had given me the recommendation of their buffet since its my first time. I am polite and clear with my words so i have no other idea to what sparks this other than the fact i saw something I wasn't supposed to see...well apparently, I wasn't suppossed to look behind me either( now smelling dope and concerned with surounddings) and notice/ move away from the guys who drive the work truck and were covered in what seemed to be dust and white paint.. Clearly their hands were not washed..Eating at the buffet!.. This goes along the same lines of high standards? Me thinks with the loud Spanish coming from the kitchen from the guys who were litterally throwing things at each other infront of everyone, indicates that I must be entitled to these lower standards for the 9 bucks I paid for an insulting, " we are Italian!" Experience ..Supposedly at at a legit Italian restaurant that in reality, was serving typical cicis quality pizza. Yup my head hurts now and stomach. As im uncomfortable at this point from being watched, I get up to just clarify what the other customer had found, and he laughed saying he was glad he wasnt the only one that bangs their head on the hanging lamp ( its not big enough in my book to be a chandelier) 3 feet above the 2.5 ft table. I Laughed too as he finally said, " yeah there was mold.." I said, "seriously?" He said, "Yeah! Which is funny since the health inspector is here." I turn and look around, amused at this point and said again , " seriously?" Hes like , "Yup!". Him and I echange looks and started laughing, after he could clearly tell, not only had I never been here before but was clearly from a different state and my abrupt and equally distributed gazes around the place reflected my thoughts of the place. Piecing everything, from the staff in the kitchen still yelling at each other in Spanish, to the mold, guys fresh from outside with paint on their hands, and a regular customer laughing off the fact mold was near his food and my experience with the lamp. Topped with typical gang stalking/ weak mentality to not treat a customer,( or just normal person who was trying not stereotype) with respect, from people who I just gave my money too.
Very little food to choose from. Not worth the money. Seems to be the location of the store..
This probaly also explains why the hispanic descendant workers of seiwa market (japanese grocery) just down the road, act like they are entitled to look down upon(indirectly/ covertly discriminate against non japanese) since the reputation they have else were would be (in their mind, being used to similar judgement) is not so good and the desire to distance themselves from other Hispanics or even so far as Latino ethnicities, is promoted by japanese open and naive mentality to everyone in that work place...
I walk in at about 12:00 pm on 11/13/2018. I was curious, since someone recommend I try, Marco's pizza. I...
Read moreI ordered pizza from them at least once a week, sometimes more. The pizza is really good, the service is questionable at times. It is a gated community, I was one of the first resident at this place and now more than a year later the place is at 80℅ full, cars come and go all the time and I will not meet them up front, they I have told them to follow some one in or come to the rear entrance and I will meet them downstairs.
The order tonight was the worst Ive had with him... The guy who picked up the phone said you will need to meet the driver up front, Intold him no, one of your managers told me it is their job to deliver the pizza to you door. The door is hard to gain entrance so the parking garage is all I expect. So I told him you can either place the order and deliver as usual or cancel and i will never order again. He mumbled something and I didn't hear what he said.... Call back and ask for the manager, I got the assistant manager and explained the same thing, she put me on hold, came back and said security will not let our drivers in... My only response to that was bullshit, I have lived here long enough to know when and where the security is and know the office staff extremely well, that was a flat out lie and I still texted the office manager to verify, I was correct. The assistant manager said we will deliver but if he can't get in you will need to come up front, again, I have told them this multiple times, if they come to the back entrance, I can go right down the elevator and meet them outside.... Pizza delivery guy gets there ASAP, but he was not told the direction I gave the assistant manager. I tipped him well, not his fault. Called right back and asked for the manager, not the assistant manager. I told him I've been lied to once already by the assistant manager, and she did not give the driver the correct information. I told him we can do one of two things... I can stop ordering all my pizza from you and by word of mouth will make sure the apartment complex knows your service sucks, or you can address the situation so this does not continue to happen, and I told him that choice is up to you. The manager was as expected a good manager and knew that I was completely serious and weighted the loss of business to the extra minute or two the driver has to do. This review would have been 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for the assistant managers lie and lack of following through. Otherwise their pizza is really good and being from NY, that is a a...
Read moreHad $80 worth of food that I cannot get because your business listing says closing midnight as confirmed by this business but asian man on the phone say we close at 11 and hang up. Real professional.
UPDATE: I filled out the form. You lost me for good. You had like 15 years on and off to make me happy, and I order like not even 10 times a year on average. You managed to screw that up so many times. I want my money back and NOTHING EVER TO DO WITH YOU PEOPLE EVER AGAIN.
Hilariously, less than 12 hours after I was told a lie on the phone or on your google listing and tried to reflect the truth in the edit of your operating hours, they are set back by the corporate to be a lie. This is why I don't trust your brand anymore. Your corporate and local are playing ping pong with people's stomachs, life plans, and time. They cannot even be consistent and mutually agreeing on what time this location should be open and closed. Marco's calls this brand "management", real professional management and company, NOT. I have had random off the street laborers, contractors and solopreneurs be more consistent with their word than this disrespectful robotic faceless brand that masquerades as some local small business here to be part of your local community experience. Reminds me of big banks.
So your online says closes at midnight on weekdays, Asian sounding man who just answered the phone again confirms you close at 11. Which is it. I don't even care, but you owe this truth to everyone involved one way or the other and otherwise you are literally misinformationing your own business and clients and employees and franchisees. 8/27/2024 call was placed at 11:23 am and lasted all of 20 seconds and I notified the same voice as last night that he is wrong and that their online listing insists and is confirmed by business that they are open until midnight and he is in disagreement with corporate and to fix it. Not that I care, but I am willing to bet that $80 right now that this won't be fixed in another 15 years either lol
Oh and yalls website really has a child in charge of it or something. I can only see your location information after a login is required and i can only see the hours of I start an order and select pick up LATER option, the only place to see the 11pm is there. Horrible horrible mindsets, designs, decisions, communication and policies all around from...
