Wow, tonight was ridiculous, I showed up and ordered at 11:20pm, and i saw that they had a new menu item which featured the kitkat banana mcflurry and I saw that on my app- I had a 50% off code for the mcflurry. When I used it, they redeemed the code to which they promptly told me that they could not honor the offer because it was only valid for that specific item even though the code was redeemed off my app. Therefore, I could no longer use any of my discounts on any orders for the next 15 minutes. Even though I just wasted 20 minutes sitting in the drive through - great!
So I settled with the kitkat at the full price. I go to get it at the window and the lady hands me. And mcflurry that is obviously and completely unblended like I'm talking literally, just the swirl of the ice cream poured into the cup and just a garnish of kit Kat candy on top and I asked her to blend it.
She refused, I handed it to her and she took her hands away from the window and I urged her again. I said "you need to do your job correctly please. Its not that hard. Please just blend the drink. It's not blended at all look at it" and she said," just eat it. " i kept trying to politely insist, then she closed the window in my face and tried to walk away.
To pay almost 4$ for a small thing of straight up vanilla soft serve is ridiculous. I got very upset and I started yelling at her to come back, and I told her to get a manager- only then did she actually take the drink from me, but to my suspection- I don't know if she tampered with it or not. When I received my mcflurry, it looked like not only was it unblended, she literally topped the rest off with MORE ice cream just to spite my request. Made a grand mess trying to mix the damn thing myself....
It shouldn't have gotten that far. Don't keep these piss poor people. There are so many more that need a job right now, And would value an opportunity and show good work ethic. It was clear that she had a problem with me although this is my first time coming to this store. I tried to talk to her calmly to resolve the situation at hand and deescalate the situation she started yelling ,scream and slamming the drive thru window shut in my face. Her behavior was very unbecoming of a manager. When I asked for her name she covered her name tag and said "just report me as the night time manager like everyone else " . The lady was Hispanic or white . Older heavy set lady with stringy sweaty hair and beady eyes,something like a Witch. She Clearly has multiple complaints with customers and employees. After placing my order, they had the audacity to take back EVERYTHING—three milkshakes and all the food I ordered—claiming they couldn’t fulfill it. What kind of bait-and-switch nonsense is this?! Don’t tell me I can have something, get my hopes up, and then yank it all away like it’s some kind of game!
