Packard's Pub — Restaurant in Houston

I have been coming to this bar often, and my experience was good until two nights in a row. I have had bad experiences with these bartenders. I had one bartender by the name of Terry approached me about giving him a tip after I bought my first drink, I am a person that believes in tipping people I never have a problem with giving people a tip, but his approach after me buying my first drink and haven’t even been there a hour His approach about me giving him a tip was so unprofessional as I tried to talk to him about it he was very arrogant and very disrespectful. I asked for my money back and I left. I come back the next day thinking things may have calmed down. I asked the bartender if I could get a margarita she told me that she is too busy to make a margarita I had witnesses and people in there that heard her say that and she refused to make me a drink that I asked for said that she was too busy to make a A margarita she didn’t feel like squeezing the limes and doing all of this other stuff to make a margarita was her exact words. This bar has become very unprofessional and it is getting out of control. I asked how do I get in touch with the owner or a manager? The response with given to me was I am the manager that’s when I knew things are getting out of hand. My experience for the last two days...

Packards pub is a cozy bar by our house that my bf and i like to visit occasionally (and have had great visits at !) but our recent visit was odd. The doors were locked before closing when normally we can stay a bit past closing for last call ? We’ve previously had an unwelcoming experience with that same bartender in the past where we were the only two in the bar and it took about 15-20 mins and a couple of attempts to get the attention of the bartender so we could order another drink. This bar is definitely catered towards their regulars but these past experiences are making us consider searching for a neighborhood...

Interesting pub with, what seems to be, a heavy locals gathering. It's a very small but cozy bar. They had karaoke the night I ventured in for a quick drink. The service was good, and the prices are decent. They have a small patio right outside the front door. Parking is very convenient. I could see my car from the inside of the establishment. I would definitely return if I happen to be in the area again. I like small places...
