I've been a faithful customer over 20 yrs. Banh Bao lost quality - bun tastes rubbery, chewy, looks shinny like plastic (not fluffy like in the past); fillings have more cartilage chunks than usual, chewy. Also, Sesame balls are much greasier than normal. Either the owners or bakers have changed - quality of baked goods are not as good - hopefully it's a onetime mishap. I noticed this shop via the phone also.

Went to this bakery referred by a friend. And they over charge me. Even as I was told the total I asked why it was that total and supposedly did again but as I left and saw the receipt I noticed I had been charged double for 2 items I only got 1 of.I wanted to go back but my husband said to leave alone. I will definitely not go back here again. And I know they knew exactly what they were doing.

Quảng cáo chè trôi nước rất ngon, nhưng thực chất khi mua về nhà ăn rất rất là dở, và rất ngọt nha. Lại không có mè nữa. Xạo, không uy tín. Không bao giờ tới đây mua chè nữa. Cắn ăn thử 1 miếng nhỏ rất là dở nên vứt vô thùng rác luôn.

I only give 4 stars cuz this business takes cash only. In this day and age, who carries a wad of cash around? With that said, I've been to this place since the 80's and it has been consistent to this day. I prefer their French bread over all others' in the city. They have a variety of other made-to-order or pre-made Vietnamese food products that you don't want to pass up.
