I had been so excited to try this new place, but I knew I had to wait til the new buzz wore off a little, I truly hate when I can't give 5 stars, but I pride my reviews on being the utmost honest. First off, the service and the food were exceptional. We were immediately greeted and assisted with a warm smile. Our order taker was friendly and made suggestions since it was out first time dining with Pincho. The food was delivered to our table in a reasonable about of time. The burgers were a great temperature and very tasty! I had the Pincho Burger with Cajun fries and my aunt had the Black Magic Burger (mushroom & Swiss) with regular fries. I didn't try hers, but it looked so good, I had a little food envy. Hers also came out before mine and I was hungry! She said it was delicious and I noticed she ate the whole thing. She typically never finishes her food. It must have been good! Mine was fantastic as well. I added pickles to mine, and it created a level of crunch I was hoping for. The Cajun fries were really good and they come with a side of Pincho sauce. This sauce is also on the Pincho Burger. It's like a Chick-fil-A sauce in taste, color and consistency. It was awesome! The burgers are not huge, which I love, but they aren't necessarily small either. I would say they are stacked taller than some burgers but they aren't as large around. Sometimes burger places are just too big. This one was just right! So why not a full 5 stars? The seating. I found the bench side of the table to be very uncomfortable. They have outdoor dining available with plastic chairs too, but it was a little cold, so we sat inside. The interior of the restaurant is very small and seating is limited. All indoor seating options are chairs or bench booth type arrangement. It was super uncomfortable. I am a tall girl (5'9") who appreciates comfy seating. A comfortable atmosphere just makes a meal out so much more enjoyable. The tables seemed squeezed together with little leg room. That's tough for a tall person. That was my only problem with our whole lunch. It won't stop me from going again, but maybe next time I will try the chairs. Had we opted for an earlier lunch, I guarantee I would have been elbow to elbow with anyone at the table beside us. Since it's a smaller interior, you may want to plan your meal outside of the regular...
Read moreWe had a few problems and Dee helped us out by going back to the kitchen and supervising the cooking or else just doing it herself. Really appreciate that Dee!
This is a run of the mill burger joint with a fancy name and fancy backstory. The meat may be better than average. My wife is extremely picky and she liked it, so you will too.
$8 for a Pincho burger is a good price now-a-days. I didn't think the cajun fries were worth an upcharge. They tasted bland to me, I'd just as soon eat unspiced fries. Of course they were spicy to my wife, who doesn't eat spicy but if you don't eat spicy you already know better than to order anything Cajun.
They offer a burger with a fried egg on it. Something that is popular in other parts of the world but unknown here. Not many places will do that. You can also just order an egg on whatever burger you want for $2, which seems reasonable, even though that's more than the price of a dozen eggs at Kroger.
Ambience is about equal to any linoleum diner from the 1950s.
We had a few problems and the staff took care of us courteously. All in all it's an ok place but I don't see why anyone would think they can make market penetration with yet another burger joint. I guess that's all we Americans will eat so you can't lose!
The one odd thing is that the cook (nor the manager) doesn't know how to make an egg over hard. That is so odd...how can anyone be a cook anywhere and not know how to make an egg over hard? We ordered our egg over hard...it came out sunny side up. My wife, who loves an egg on her burger, won't eat that, so we sent it back. It came back to us sunny side up for the second time! Sadly, it appeared my wife wasn't going to get an egg that day, so she just gave it to me with disappointment. The manager came to check on us and we shared with him our experience and he said he would go back and make it himself...is that odd or what. He brought the egg back, not over hard, but with an odd "folded" technique that was somewhere between sunny side up and an omelette. Luckily it was cooked just enough that my wife was able to eat it and enjoy it. What makes this even odder is that a lot of people will not eat runny yolks, meaning that over hard must be a common request and anything less will get complaints. If you want your egg over hard, talk to Dee and get her to...
Read moreI ordered the goat burger, recommendation of the cashier. It was delicious! I loved all the flavors and juiciness of the burger. The lady at the front was also very nice and personable. For me the atmosphere is what gave it a 3. The place was dirty. The sun was hitting the tables at a certain angle and all of them looked dusty. The chairs were also dusty. Also, there was no one really there other than another person waiting on an order (it did not look busy AT ALL) and the floors were very dirty, and so were the tables - especially the one next to me with crumbs everywhere and a high chair in the way. No offense - I have a baby too - but it looked like that baby/toddler was long gone.
Then I went to the restroom and there was no toilet paper in both slots and blood on the seat, going down the bowl, and on the floor. My guess is the person that was there last figured out there was no toilet paper when it was too late, and it dripped everywhere. I had to clean the blood off the seat with paper towels (thank goodness there were paper towels) and was able use the toilet. Still pretty gross.
I understand it’s hard to keep up with restrooms when you have many customers, but there was none, and the overall dirtiness of the whole place let you know that no one was really cleaning. It’s hard to believe all that dust was from one day. Seems like whoever is supposed to clean at night is not doing a good job. Anyway! Cleanliness is important, ESPECIALLY when it’s the same restrooms used by employees, because how clean are their hands if there is no toilet paper?
I thought it was shame that so many people were visiting the business next door and not this one, especially after tasting the burger (I’d return for it), but please clean the place. It deserves more customers. Hire a deep clean first and then have your employees maintain daily. Keep a restroom cleaning log or something so the customers can see that someone...
