Amazing! I came here for their Harry Potter theme, and was absolutely enchanted by the attention to detail, creativity, decor matching so well to theme, and customer service! Loved this place so much that I went back a few times during the HP theme!
Thing I tried:
Floo Powder Latte: This was a matcha latte and had two options-strawberry or mango. I got mango, which was a jelly/purée with some small chunks at the bottom, and it was layered with milk then topped off with matcha. The matcha wasn’t that strong or bitter, and wasn’t too sweet either. Overall perfect balance between the mango flavor and matcha.
Butter Beer (Non alcoholic): Cream soda with butterscotch cream foam. They had three varieties: original, frozen slush, and float. I got the original. This was my first time trying a butter beer flavored drink, a friend tried it from Universal Studios, said it tasted very similar to the one there. The butterscotch flavor was strong and it balanced nicely with the soda. It was extremely sweet tho, so if you don’t like too much sweetness it may be overpowering and hard to finish alone. But overall it was really delicious. They sold out of the butter beer a few times since it was so popular.
Sorting Potion: “Magical” lychee flavored lemonade. You had the option to ask them for the color you want or you could keep it a surprise and see what house you get “sorted” into. It was a very cute concept and they had food coloring to the top of the lid, so when you shake it the color changes. The flavor itself was pretty good, the lychee flavor mixed well with the lemonade, and it wasn’t too sweet or too bitter, balanced and yummy lychee flavored lemonade!
Screeching Mandrake Cake: No bake oreo cheesecake, topped with oreo crumble, caramel candy in the shape of a baby mandrake, and mint leaves. The portion size of this was huge for one person alone to finish imo. Flavor was nice, really sweet, and the texture was creamy and crunchy since there were bits of crumble mixed into the cheesecake. It came in a cute flower pot/decorative bowl, but downside was that there was a hole at the bottom which caused crumbs to fall through.
Broken Broomsricks: Lightly baked soft pretzels with warm cheese or caramel dip. Very basic dish, breadsticks were soft but didn’t taste like they were buttered or salted, very plain. Cheese was warm, again very average, tasted like it’s store bought. Nothing fancy, imo not worth the price.
A few menu items do get reused with new themes + names sometimes, but it’s rare (example would be the breadsticks and cheese, which also got reused for their One Piece theme).
They have a new pop-up about every two-six weeks, with extensions if there’s a fan demand for it, and they announce updates on their website and IG.
Some other popular themes they’ve done is Studio Ghibli, Pokémon, Avengers/ Ant Man & The wasp, Barbie, One Piece, and most recently Naruto! Their next upcoming one is Spirited/Ghibli theme-which is back by popular demand.
Overall an amazing experience for comic book fans, movie connoisseurs, and/or anime lovers! It’s a great way to get a mini immersive experience! Highly recommend, definitely check it out during your favorite...
Read moreUpdate* I warned my sister not to come here and she did. She had the same experience with the service. When you ask them for something they don’t care. They act like working there is the worst part of their day. Food taste like crap for over priced. All the labubu was over priced She only came for her kids and even the kids disapproved. This place is only a spot for influencers to mark off their check list.
I came here because my daughter wanted to see what this place is all about and it wasn't as great as they promoted. We came here at least 3 times with 3 different theme and was disappointed each time... the sailor moon trip to Popfancy is what made me write this review. The place looks beat down inside and dirty and where they make the drink, it's not what it seems on social media. We unfortunately fell for it again. We had order 2 drinks and it turns out to be $14 and some changes (that's just the regular basic cups not those fancy plastic cups. So if you want the fancy plastic cups it's like an additional $5 more or so.) I had got blue lychee mercury and pina coconut Neptune and let me tell you.... It was the worst!!! The blue lychee tastes like flat Tampico Chico with blue food coloring with no lychee flavor with some ice and some popping boba, the pina coconut taste like pure dole pineapple juice out of the can. I wish I could have got a refund because we just ended up throwing the drink away. I don't mind paying the price if the food or drink match the standard of "good" but it wasn't. Dealing with the service..... oh god what can I say. He was the only one there working the front but oh lord. He has no customer service skill whatsoever. No thank you or anything. And this happens the last few time we went as well service is no bueno. My daughter is 4 and she even unapproved the service, food & beverage here. That can say it all. I have it a 2 star oc they have good theme idea. But this Last...
Read moreWent with a couple friends for the One Piece themed event and all I can say, is that we were beyond disappointed. The ambience/environment was phenomenal, but everything else was underwhelming.
We arrived and there were 2 lines for entry. There weren’t any signs as to which line was which and the employee at the door didn’t advise anyone on where to wait. So, we waited in the “walk in” line for over an hour, we were eventually advised to check in on the website, finally reached #1 on the website (we also received confirmation via text), just to be put in the BACK of the other line. When we asked why we had to go to the back of the line, the employee outside was incredibly rude and unhelpful towards my friends. The owner of the event came out to “de-escalate” the situation, but was condescending and dismissive. She said that we should’ve known better despite it being our first time at this venue. She also advised that we could’ve purchased a fast pass for an additional $2, but the fast pass doesn’t guarantee you to skip the line, it just puts you in the same line as the walk in individuals who eventually get checked in. In total, we waited about an hour and half for entry.
When we finally got in, we had to wait another 20 minutes in line just to order our food. For context, I’m pescatarian, so I was looking forward to trying the Garlic Buttered pretzel and/or the shrimp wontons w/ noodles (as those were the only options for me since everything else was drinks or desserts). They were out of the pretzels, but I was still excited for the soup! Unfortunately, the soup was beyond bland. However, the Hana Han drink I ordered was absolutely delicious.
Overall, the experience could’ve been better. I understand we went on a busy day, but I genuinely hope they work on their customer service. The atmosphere and the drinks were the only saving...
