I left a comment on my survey- The meal was not worth $53 but the service was great Not sure I’ll be back unless I hear from employees that they enjoy their experience working there…else investing makes no sense … Management should take into consideration the well-being of their employees. While there may be a need for flexibility in staffing and filling positions, it is important for management to prioritize creating a positive work environment. This industry may be fast-paced, but it is crucial to remember that the individuals working here are human beings who deserve to enjoy their experiences. It is time to put an end to the notion that pushing through pain is an acceptable coping mechanism. Instead, I believe it is more beneficial to engage with wait and bar staff, rather than relying solely on technology, which can contribute to physical ailments such as carpal tunnel syndrome and hunchback syndrome. Self-preservation is essential, but without proper support, both employees and the business will suffer. If assistance is needed in implementing effective HR practices to ensure a high-quality experience for staff, leadership, and clientele, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

The WORST airport food I’ve ever had!!! Houston airport…they have pictures of each item and you order from the screen at your “table”. The first try was the chopped salad & when the tiny dressing-drenched $16 salad arrived I told the server it was unacceptable- because the “cook” is just at the back of the restaurant I went back when I heard her complaIning…. I asked her to look at the picture and then at my plate, she then got combative and assured me it was the same ingredients just mixed up & she would (condescendingly) told me she’d remake one and “put everything neatly on top so that I could see it was there!” …but that they were out of corn snd 2 other ingredients!!!! I said never mind, I will order the chicken wings at like $18 !!! Although they had good flavor, were tiny, emaciated, over-nuked and AGAIN: NOT like the PICTURE!!! (See both photos below!!) I just gave up & ate it- they clearly couldn’t possibly get anything else right! You have to order and pay at your personal electronic menu and I was told it would all be made right on my credit card that night/ which actually was not for a few days AND they added an unauthorized 40% TIP!!! Avoid this place at all costs!!!!!

Finding healthy and delicious meal options at airports is very challenging; especially when you have food sensitivities. But today, I was pleasantly surprised when I ate at El Premio at the International Houston Airport (near gate c37). I ordered the chopped salad with arugula and added short ribs….. oh my, soooo good! Plus they played Manu Chao, which made the experience even more savory. I even got to personally compliment the Chef and let her know I could taste her passion for cooking in the food. We gotta let people know the good not always complain!! They all work hard here and you can tell. So when you’re at the Intl Houston airport, be sure to stop by at El Premio and try this salad or explore for yourself ~ provecho! ~ Caya

OMG - what a horrible experience and kicking myself for not looking at the reviews prior to entering that place. All of the reviews are spot on. The food is lousy and overpriced then add in a gratuity BEFORE you get any service is not only dishonest but should be illegal. We ordered the nachos "grande" for like $16. Could get better at a little league baseball game. Maybe 3 of the chips were edible with the others being so soggy you had to use a fork. The bottom of the nasty cardboard container was swimming in cheese sauce.

Ordered an IPA via their uncleansed kiosk for $9 plus tax. Waitress came by and said they were out of that one. Requested another IPA. She said okay. After eating about half of the nachos, she still hadn't stopped back by. So, when walking by and not even making eye contact or acknowledging us, I watched her go to end of the bar and start chatting with a friend. Next time by I told her I didn't want it and to take off our credit card. Nothing. No more interaction. Had to ask another waitress about removing from our bill and she said they'd take care of it. It was later when I noticed I had been charged a gratuity(15 or 18%) AUTOMATICALLY and BEFORE we even got any service. There's no incentive for the waitress to be nice or cordial - she knows she'll get a tip on overpriced food and drinks REGARDLESS of her behavior. 3 days later they did remove the charge for a beer I never got. HOWEVER, they still left in the tip that I never agreed to the amount. This is being disputed with the credit card company now.

Notice there are ZERO replies from their management. This should be a big warning sign that nobody cares. I got an email and in it there was a short survey. I expressed my issues and there was a radio button asking if I wanted a text reply or phone call. I selected phone call. Still no call so will let credit card company work it...

I stopped in for some food because I had a long layover and they weren’t super busy. I sat myself at the bar (no hostess) and ordered some food and drinks. Lilly was fantastic and attentive, I could tell she was pretty busy behind the bar. She would greet people as they waited for a table and told them to seat themselves. It turns out there was a hostess that was nowhere to be found for most of the time people were coming in.

The manager came to the bar to assist at one point and was just atrocious. She didn’t know how to make ANY mixed drinks and kept asking Lilly for step by step instructions on several drinks (including asking about measurements) while Lilly was also making drinks. As a manager, you should know the basics of where you work in my opinion. Lilly worked the full bar by herself clearly very busy while the manager would just be a glorified food runner to tables even though there were plenty of food runners.

I finally closed out and waited an hour for a coffee and dessert before I finally alerted Lilly because my flight was leaving soon, the manager came out and made it seem like it was a problem I was asking and I had to explain and show my receipt that my final order was placed and paid for nearly an hour prior.

I just would expect a lot more for a manager. She seemed to have an attitude and truly no idea what she was doing. She didn’t seem to be much of a help because she couldn’t do anything unsupervised as she had questions about everything.

Airport food is already so expensive and I would expect a bit more. The food wasn’t bad and the drinks were good, you could just tell the staff wasn’t being run, helped...

Social distancing is not possible! The wait person was rude to wit; when we chose to sit a table further than where she guided us she said “I won’t be your waiter” and started to leave until we decided to move to her table. The menu on the table pads does not match the posted menu… I wanted MIGITAS but it did not appear on the menu. When my spouse made the order, it was not an easy process. My husbands food was overly salty, and not hot. His fruit bowl never came and the refund was not immediate. My meal came only after I asked where it was and the wait person’s concern was not evident in her remark. The meal finally appeared, mine was not overly salty and was flavorful. The glass orange juice was really a glass of ice with a small amount of OJ and then wasn’t full. We talked to a manager who was unable to make the refund. The music was loud and you had to speak loudly to be understood. I do not recommend or endorse this restaurant. We gave the wait person a $0.00 tip. And as another person accurately described how the food is delivered and the follow up…. It reminded me of the touch and go on my aircraft carrier! Our meal cost $58.40 and this review should not come as a shock as I told the manager that I would not be giving a...
