The place itself is small, cozy, and has good prices. I’ve been here before and really liked the idea of being able to choose the music from the tablet — it’s a nice touch.
However, last night we had a very unpleasant experience with the bartender, Sheryl (the pink-haired bartender). We were a group of 9 people (the bar was almost empty) and ordered drinks as usual. One of my friends asked for the tablet to play music, just like she had done on a previous visit. When she put on a song, the volume accidentally went up for a few seconds, but she immediately lowered it and apologized.
Sherry’s reaction was completely unprofessional — she came over visibly upset, spoke to us rudely, and even snatched the tablet out of my friend’s hand. As a business owner myself, I understand mistakes happen, but what matters is how you handle them. A professional response would have been something like, “No worries, we’ll control the volume from here,” rather than showing hostility toward a group of new paying customers.
The situation was so uncomfortable that after that first round, we decided to close our tab and leave. Our group went to another bar where we easily spent over $1,000. It’s unfortunate to lose that kind of business over such poor customer service.
To be clear, the venue itself is nice, but the bartender’s attitude really ruined the experience. I hope management takes note, because customer service is key to helping a bar grow and keep...
Read moreThe other night my cousin was performing here. Good vibes for the most part! However, sadly the bartender Hayley (the bigger girl with green hair) had a terrible attitude with me for no reason. I had gone to the bar twice the first time she took everyone’s (including people who came up after me) order but not mine and didn’t even acknowledge me. The second time I walked up with my friend and left for a second… she asked him what he wanted but he was waiting for me… when I came back she didn’t return to take the order or acknowledge me. Finally after waiting (I have no problem waiting because it’s expected lol) and literally being the only people in front of her she asked my order. I told her what I wanted and she responded “WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME SO UGLY? WHY DO YOU HAVE AN ATTITUDE” I was very monotone when I spoke.. and honestly regardless if I had an attitude or not you’re a bartender working in night life… who cares if someone has an “attitude” with you… as long as nobody is being disrespectful just make the drinks and make your money. Anyway I went to the other bartender who had no problem taking my order and was sure to tip him well. Idk that experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Customer service is everything when you’re out to have a good time and...
Read moreI visited this bar with two pretty ladies. We were seated at a booth. The waitress/bartender brought us menus and then disappeared for about 15 min or so. She didn't check on us and the other two guys seemed to be watching the game.
It was a slow Monday and we were the only 3 customers there. I finally had to get up to get someone's attention and instead of walking over to the table, the bartender said to just shout it from there.
The drinks were ok. however, because the servers were unattentive we only ordered 2 drinks after being there over an hour. It was a catch up kinda meeting and it was raining, trust me... we would've ordered more.
The place is a cool looking dive, and the staff is friendly. It was just weird to not even try and take our first drink order when we were the only ones there.
Lastly... the automatic gratuity, however stated on the menu, should be clearly communicated verbally. I was clearly and audibly stunned by the price of 2 cocktails and a Topo coming out to $42. I tipped on top of that without knowing. The bartender who I asked why that much responded with... that's the price. She could've said a tip was already added. I only found out after coming here to...
