Horrible customer service! However the fried fish is the most popular served item and good most of the time depending on time, day and cook. The new management (I think is the original owners kids/family) did a good job upgrading somethings such as order number caller thats loud and can be heard outside if you wait in your car for order. Also from the outside you can see the big posters of special menu items covering the windows, but I don't think many ppl order from that. I usually see and hear ppl ordering from the old menu inside. I think they should spent some money on upgrading the waiting area to include a bigger, cleaner and better dinning area. It's always been dirty, dull, small and unwelcoming. Making one not want to dine in, which looks to be there goal. Also the restrooms that remain "Out of order" seems like from the time they opened this business... it's not true. I think they don't want customers to use it. If you ask to use it sometimes they will accommodate you and unlock it. Overall, I feel that they don't care about the customer experience. I feel if these businesses are going to post up in our community and serve what we like to eat... then also treat us with respect, honor, dignity and be grateful that we patronize your business because we pay for you to operate your business in our community and therefore you get to provide for your family. BACKGROUND: I have been buying from this establishment for decades. Even when located in Briargate, off Fuqua.
ORIGINAL OWNERS: Great food. Great service.
RECENTLY: I lived in a city 40 mins away and would frequently order from 2nd Seafood, pick up my staple, exchange pleasantries and enjoy.
FUTURE: New Ownership (family owned) ... I shall NOT return.
I was told by the management (nephew)... "you should have bought back what you got from the us (yesterday, 8pm at night) so we could show the suppliers."
I showed "management"/this gentlemen pictures of the dinner placed the night before and they told me..."sometimes the suppliers issue a bad box...we can give you 1/2 off price of today's order."
But I PAID, no questions asked, FULL PRICE for prior food!. Never received the fish...
Read moreVery unprofessional! The guy who takes orders is very incompetent and can't seem to do his job effectively. After I ordered decided i wanted a bottle of water. I attempted to pay $1 for the water and he refused to accept the $1 saying he couldn't accept the payment until I was ready to take the water right then because he would forget! Seriously?! I told him I would not allow him to forget my drink. I only wanted it to remain cold until I received my food. Did I mention I was the only customer in the store... I paid for my food and he didnt forget to give that to me so whats the difference? This is ridiculous and unprofessional. He also hung up in my face when I attempted to place an order over the phone!! Needless to say I will not be back and the FOOD WAS NOT GOOD!...
