had a fantastic experience at Shipley's Doughnuts off I-10 in Houston that I just had to share! I pulled up early in the morning and was promptly greeted by a cheerful young lady at the ordering speaker. I requested a half dozen glazed doughnuts and a large coffee, and she quickly asked how much cream and sugar I wanted in my coffee. I replied that l'd like three creams and some sugar, saying I'd add the sugar myself. When I arrived at the window, I was met by another friendly young lady who took my payment and handed me my order. But what truly warmed my heart was her thoughtful gesture-she handed me a bag with my coffee, saying, "Here's your sugar and creams." Curious, I asked how many sugars she had included, to which she smiled and responded, "Oh, I put a lot!" It was such a delightful moment, and it really touched me that she understood just how much we love our sugar in coffee!
This kind of personable service made my morning brighter, and the doughnuts were, of course, delicious. I highly recommend Shipley's for their tasty treats and exceptional customer service. Thank you for a...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience using your app to place a pickup order. I placed my order in advance, expecting a smooth and timely pickup process, but unfortunately, this was not the case.
Upon arriving at the scheduled pickup time, I was made to wait an additional 30 minutes. During this time, I was directed to switch between different cashiers in order to complete my order. When I finally arrived home and checked the items, I discovered that the entire order was incorrect.
This experience was frustrating and inconvenient, as the primary reason for using the app was to avoid waiting in line and ensure my order was ready on time. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering an in-store purchase instead of relying on the app for future orders.
I hope this feedback is helpful and that improvements can be made to the process...
Read moreDonuts are always good . Location might be busy, but it's never slow . My only complaint is that I've been waiting years for them to introduce a kolache with no pork. I was totally excited to find out they now have egg and cheese. But I was disappointed when I bit in to find the egg watery. As it's still a new item, I'm hoping that with time, they will get it right. Edit 6/8/2025 - they got rid of all the people that used to work there and the quality of the entire restaurant has rapidly declined. The service is the slowest I've ever seen at a shipleys, the guy that served us walked around confused for 10 minutes and still gave us the wrong order. Plus the taste of the donuts and icing have changed. My husband and I have been eating shipleys our entire lives and always said that this one is the best in Houston....
