Before I write my complaint I just want to mention a couple things I noticed while waiting for my order. Upon arriving I waited for someone to take my order for a while before anyone even acknowledged me. While waiting I noticed someone who I would later find out is Brad, giving orders and talking to the other employees in a rude, condescending tone, and basically barking orders. After finally ordering I waited patiently and even went out to my car before coming back to notice my order Hadn’t even been started yet. I saw other people who would arrive after me get their orders before me. I gave them the benefit of doubt and assumed maybe they were mobile orders but then I saw people order in person get their orders before me and I still waited patiently. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and I asked the first person I saw which was Brad how much longer for my order. He then proceeded to tell me all the problems the Starbucks was having such as being short staffed, broken machines, long drive thru lines (which is the reason we went inside in the first place). He then told me he had to help all of the drive thru first and the other people inside and that mine would take a while because my “order was complicated” in a rude/ condescending attitude tone. I’ve never been told I had a complicated order before or had to wait such a long time for my drink. I didn’t want to argue so I walked away and I found your business card. I contemplated writing this email so I waited a while before asking again how much longer is it going to take. Brad ignored my question and went to order another employee to attempt to make it even though that employee told him he wasn’t sure how to make it. When I finally got my drink it wasn’t even made right. I didn’t want to argue I just wanted to leave at that point which I did but I was very upset with the way he handled that and all he could tell me was “sorry” in a monotone voice. I called and left a message at 4:42pm on Sunday which is about the time I received my drink and was walking out the door. I originally was going to go through the drive thru but the line was out to the street so that’s why I went inside to order at 4:24pm according to my drink sticker on the cup. I will never come back to this location as long as that person is working there and I used to frequent this location a lot with my family. I hope to get a call or message back about...
Read moreThe only thing worse than a bad review, is a review containing false allegations in an atttempt to cover up an angry man's disappointment with this Starbucks for not giving in to his racist and ridiculous demands! That is exactly what you, Mark McIntyre have done, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Mark...how brightly the sun was shining must be an opinion based observation because the other 4 or 5 customers who sat alongside windows, with their laptops open, didn't seem to mind it. In fact, when our party of 8 arrived, 2 young women, both working on laptops, offered their large table of 4 chairs to us, and the women gratiously moved to a bar table alongside a window. Maybe the lowered shades were sufficient enough protection for them as they stayed and continued to work for roughly 3 hours. Mark...how would you feel if employees, let's use the names Matt and Ethan for example, asked you and your party to leave? Because that's what you did. You said to Matt and eventually Ethan, "They're bothering me. Aren't you going to ask them to leave?". You would feel hurt or embarrassed among other things, right? Especially if you and your party were, in fact, paying customers as evidenced by the 8 or 9 drinks and 2 or 3 cakes sitting on the table. Mark...who do you think you are? What makes you think that you are more deserving of anything more than anybody else? I truly hate to say this, but I cannot think of any reason for this kind of disgusting behavior other than racism. We weren't loud. We weren't swearing. We were immersed in our conversation. That's typical when planning a wedding! 😁 You were upset that 8 women of color were occupying the table at which you PREFERRED to sit. You were upset that the AWESOME staff at this store refused to acquiese to your pernicious, hateful, demands. Mark...in the event of this incident reoccurring, how about YOU be the one to leave. Kudos to the guys at Starbucks store #10879 for asking neither party to leave. Tim, Dre, Matt, and Ethan- you guys are the real MVPs. My friends and I enjoyed our delicious coffee, tea, !PINK DRINKS!, and cakes. And I sincerely hope that Mark and his compadre enjoyed our company as much as we...
Read moreThis is the single worst customs service experience I’ve ever had. I went to grab breakfast with my brother in law and my sister. We ordered two coffees (cloud macchiato and a salted caramel cold foam cold brew) and order of banthem bagels, an egg sandwich, a cake pop and a pumpkin cake slice. We got and finished all the food before the coffee came out so I ask how long the coffees would be because I need to catch a flight. The barista alfonso* (May have been his name, his name tag was hand written and hard to read) told me that my coffee was coming out next. A few minuter go by and I see him hand someone else a coffee so I go back up and he tells me that they’re out of the nitro for my coffee. And they I need to order something different. (This was 25 min after I placed the initial order.)
I said I don’t want anything else I’ll just take a refund and he was like no you have to leave with something and I said no I just want a refund. He was pretty upset by this and was like he it’s not my fault we ran out and we’re busy. To which I reply look can I just get my refund with out any lip I need to go catch a flight. He then stepped away from the register and walk to the back.
Then he came back and was giving me the refund but the entire time calling me rude and disrespectful. I told him I didn’t want to argue I just want the refund and he responded that he was doing it.
He continued to insult me while I waited for the refund and told me that he’s a person. I responded I am also a person and I treat people the same way they treat me. That’s when I realized that something was off with this guy because he told me he completely twisted what I said and said that I had claimed I wasn’t human.
I started to notice a line building behind me and I told him to take the order of the people behind me an stop arguing with me.
Then he screamed at me and said I don’t have to listen you. You’re not my boss.
I hope this place seriously does something about this employee he is so rude and can clearly not handle the job.
I already spoke to customer service and they notified the manager but I wanted to write about the experience so that people would steer clear...
