Steady Snack'n (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

Steady Snack’n visited our apartment complex today from 5:30-8:30. As soon as we hit the corner the smell was OMG. I ordered the 7 Hot Lemon Pepper Wings w/Fries and Cheesesteak Loaded Fries(so excited didn’t even get a chance to take pics/next time for sure) However, everything was sooooooooooo good. The food was very well seasoned and that sauce over the fries was simply EVERYTHING!!! It’s pricey but worth EVERY DOLLAR. Not one crumb left. The truck was so clean and inviting. He and his beautiful daughter were so very nice & welcoming. I can see why his food truck is award winning. We will be finding his locations and pull-up. He has gain new customers for life. Great tasting food but. I got the Surf n’ turf loaded fries and upon opening the box, I was disappointed. $20 for loaded fries, I assumed that it was enough to feed 2 people; every single item were low low portions. If we had ordered 2 of these? We would’ve been even more disappointed for paying $40 on 2 plates of loaded fries that could’ve been on 1 plate. I originally wanted to get the Cajun boudin egg rolls but they said, “no boudin today.” I had high hopes for this but I definitely won’t be returning unless the price paid is worth the quality...

I really wanted to like this food truck but honestly it just missed the mark. The steak and cheese fries were $15 and there was not enough topping on the fries to warrant the price. Also the meat just doesn't taste the best. It almost tastes like ground beef that has just been heavily seasoned.
