Supreme Kakes & More — Restaurant in Houston

I would not even recommend Supreme Kakes to my enemies. I was nothing but disappointed with them. We originally ordered our cakes 6+ months ago. Paid in full before we left. The consultation was a little all over the place but I chalked it up to being on a Saturday and a busy day for them. I should have listened to my gut and walked away. 3 weeks before the wedding I got a call from "Chef" Adam, he didn't know if we wanted it delivered or not. I told him when we paid we had included delivery, he didn't seem all that interested one way or the other and hung up. Then the Thursday before our Saturday event I get a call from Adam that he lost our design. He blamed it on someone else and I told him that I luckily had a picture of the cake on my phone and I could text it to him.

Saturday afternoon a car rolls up instead of the promised air conditioned delivery van with two very nice Spanish only speaking women. Adam gave us this big spill about how he would be coming with the cake and with extra supplies in case something happened. Neither he nor extra supplies came with the cake. To top it all off it is the wrong cake! The cakes that was delivered look like your local Kroger or Walmart caliber, they had markings all over it. Even if it was the right cake it was sloppily done and not what you think an $800 cake would look like. When I called and spoke to Adam he couldn't have cared less and said he has 20 other wedding cakes to do. The fact that the cake was wrong was of no concern to him. I mentioned that the flowers on the cake didn't look close to a flower like they should have and he said those are contemporary art pieces not flowers.

I was supposed to receive a call from the owner to correct the cake but as of the Wednesday after the event not even a peep from Supreme Kakes.

TL;DR They delivered the wrong cake that was of poor quality and couldn't have cared in the slightest. Run as fast as you can away from this...

We had the most heartwarming experience with Supreme Kakes for our wedding at the Pelazzio in March 2024. Our cake was absolutely perfect, capturing our “Our Stars Aligned” theme with a beautiful design that resembled space and stars. It matched our wedding colors of navy, sage green, white, gold, and cream so wonderfully. The white roses they placed added such a special touch, and I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes seeing how everything came together, making our day feel so incredibly special.

The flavors were beyond amazing! We chose vanilla and strawberries and cream, and they were simply the best. Every bite was a burst of fresh, delicious flavor that had our guests raving all night long. It was truly the best cake we’ve ever had, and I am so grateful for the joy it brought to everyone.

From start to finish, the team at Supreme Kakes made us feel so cared for. They handled everything with such warmth and attention, making the whole process so stress-free and enjoyable. Their passion for what they do shone through in every detail, and they took our vision and brought it to life in a way that was even better than we could have imagined. The cake arrived right on time, and the setup was perfect, with every detail lovingly placed.

We used Supreme Kakes for our wedding cake. The cake itself was very delicious! We got a lot of compliments from our guests that they really liked the cake. During the tasting we got to try 21 different flavors and there were several that we really liked but ultimately went with the Oreo flavor which was different. Booking everything was really simple. The only complaints we had was I had called to ask for the size of the cake drum so I could find a cake stand that would fit. They told me what size to get and I got exactly that. When the wedding cake was delivered the cake drum was larger than the cake stand and stood over the side of the cake stand and we couldn’t utilize our cake stand. Also the cake was suppose to be delivered at 5:30pm and it was delivered way earlier than that. Thankfully this wasn’t an issue due to the event now being inside due to rain. Had it not rained though the cake would have been sitting outside for several hours before the event. Lastly, we didn’t want any kind of ribbon on the edge of the cake tiers, they explained that they usually do this on all of their cakes. After politely asking several times if they could just leave the edges clean without anything as this is what we wanted, I decided to just leave it be.
