This pharmacy is the absolute worst. I’ve complained about the pharmacy to a few store managers and they’ve told me I have to speak to the regional manager when it comes to complaining about the pharmacy, and I’ve left my cell phone number on two occasions amd have never been called. I’ve requested the regional managers number or email and was told it could not be shared. Here’s the thing, some of the workers do not understand how serious and important their job is. Medicine helps heal/treat people’s bodies and minds, so I would think there would be better organization, communication amd compassion. Instead, this pharmacy is completely unorganized, clueless, and most employees are completely rude, especially Jeny, she is a nightmare to deal with.
I plan around picking up my monthly medication because if it’s out of stock at this Walgreens, it’s not as if they can just transfer the prescription to another Walgreens—my doctor has to be the one to transfer it himself. So, once he sends the prescription, I call this Walgreens before 5PM and ask if it’s in stock/ready. If it’s not in stock, knowing before 5PM allows me to call my doctor and ask him to send the prescription to another Walgreens. Today is the third time that an employees laziness/carelessness adds more work and stress to my life in my pursuit of obtaining the medication I take every day of my life. I called today before 5PM and was told my medicine was in stock. 3 hours later (6:30PM) I get a text saying it’s not in stock. I just emailed my doctor who doesn’t work Fridays to inform him. So, that means he will send my prescription to another location on Monday and I’ll go 4 days without my medication. This is extremely stressful, unprofessional and reckless on their end. I’ll be changing pharmacies and I recommend whoever is reading this does the same to avoid a lot...
Read moreNEVER, Use This Walgreens Store as a Fedex Drop Off I delivered a package I was sending next day priority via Fedex, to this location on Wednesday the 24th of January 2018 at approximately 1:00 PM. The package was required to be in Los Angles California the following morning. It never arrived, as I was traveling I did not find this out until the following day Friday the 25th. When I called the Walgreens to ask if they still had the package they confirmed that it was still there. I instructed the Walgreens representative to ensure it made it out that day. Still no email detailing Fedex pickup at the end of Friday. Call Saturday morning and…….YES THE PACKAGE IS STILL THERE!!!!!. Call Fedex for the second time and file a second complaint and ask that they send a driver to the location and pick up the package. Hours later,….. call Fedex again to find out where my package is, and it was never turned over to the driver, whom I am told did ask for packages. Fedex then calls the Walgreens to find out where the package is,………wait for it…….IT IS IN OUR CUSTOMER PICK UP BIN. Apparently it is too difficult for their staff to distinguish between the Shipper, a Houston Texas Location, and the Recipient A California Location on a shipping label. I believed that Fedex teaming up with Walgreens was a wonderful way for Fedex to at least quadruple their drop off locations. Maybe They Should Have Went With CVS or better...
Read moreThe Pharmacists/Techs @ this location are quite rude and making crucial mistakes.
I came in here and was told it'll take roughly an hour to have my prescribed medication ready(which is completely fine). As I left and was driving home, I received a call from them saying they need my insurance. Since I already left and was driving, I asked if I can give it to them when I return there for pick up. They said yes so I just left. When I came back an hour later and showed them my insurance, they told me there was an additional 20 min wait. Apparently they don't start processing these prescription until they get these information. I really would've appreciated if they could've mentioned that in the call or even better, asked for my insurance when I was there in person first time around. Also, they do have attitude and are quite rude, you can definitely tell customer service is not their forte.
After 20 min of additional wait, I received my medication and went my way. Later on when I checked the medications, I noticed I was MISSING A MEDICATION. I called the pharmacy and they admitted the mistake and prepared the missing medication for me to pick up. I had to drive 30 minute back just to pick up this medication. I was in a rush and this is not the kind of customer service/handling I expect from a Pharmacy. How can they mess my medication up after having more than an hour and a half...
