Stay away from this attorney!! Please people beware!! She is so unprofessional it is indescribable. First off if she has a legitimate problem from one of her clients she will not claim that client and swear she never knew the person. I paid this lady to be my attorney and represent me and she did a horrible job, she actually turned on me during my child support trail and started asking questions and doing things verbally that helped the other person in my case. I have proof this lady took my case and did a terrible job! My life is so busy I haven't had the time to file and follow up complaints to the Bar Association and she banks on that being a common situation because I know others were discouraged by the process. Bottom line do intensive research on this so called malpracticing attorney before retaining her. She picks and choses how well she will represent a client based on her personal feelings or conclusion about the person, yet she will still take your money and smile like she's on the job when she barely looks at your file once leaving her office. The only reason I’m giving this person 1 star at all is because there’s not a way to give a zero stars or negative even. She was the WORST attorney ever! I met her before I had a decent Budget, and had to find a discount and dirt cheap atty. you get what you pay for. She was Rude, unprofessional, and emotionally unstable. Her receptionist was racist- or just had really bad attitude all the time. She cried almost every time I saw her- in court. In her office she’d only converse w me after verbally attacking me and insulting me to the point where my anxiety was out of control. Then it was like an interrogation. She told me that I did something to deserve the abuse I received from my husband. She was embarrassing representation. She said that my case was so unfair that it made her want to quit her career. She did quit my case. After taking my money, and not returning the unused portion of the retainer. Only hire her if you want to lose your case, be humiliated, and abused by her and her staff. She dresses unprofessionally and inappropriately, in a way that is tacky, cheap, and suggests promiscuity. And she also has a reputation as a nutcase among her colleagues. Ms. Jones is simply one of the best divorce attorneys in Houston! She not only knows family law well but has also assisted me in a wrongful criminal litigation case.
