Looking for Authentic Mexican Tortas, well this is your place. I bumped into this place one day tired of going to the same old places that tend to give a torta with that dry soggy bolillo that you get in other places. I thought well what's the worst that can happen.

Their tortas are awesome and huge! The flavor and seasonings have made a frequent customer for sure. The salsas, are also really good my favorite is the green salsa however my wife enjoys the chipotle hot sauce they make. I've also had their Gorditas which are also really good and huge. Definitely worth what you pay for them.

I havent spoken much to the workers to ask but I believe it is the family running the restaurant and the taste of everything has really been like back in Mexico. I was wanting to hold off on a review because it has now become my spot to go for tortas and would hate for it to become Hyped and lose all the flavors but it really is a place...

I've been to this restaurant long enough to know who is who and how they handle their business. I didnt mind anything back then, until i started getting food poisoning. Very disappointed to say i wont be coming here any time soon. Their servers are polite and provide excellent service, despite of the language barrier. One thing that threw me off guard was the fact that one cook in particular was not wearing gloves and kept cooking many orders during rush hour. Not once did I feel like she washed her hands. Because it was very busy, they all seemed overworked and tired and it seemed to show on their food. Various times I've came in and its busy. Needless to say, i am patient and understanding so i did not mind the wait. I started getting food poisoning from the Alambres and Meat Tortas even after I thought it was a ME problem. Be...

Had a few reservations about this place after looking through the reviews but decided to give it a chance and I’m glad I did. The first time I went I tried the torta cubana and it was the best torta I’ve ever had. It was huge, had a ton of flavor, and was really cheap for how big it was. I’ve come back many times since then and have almost tried the whole menu to be able to say that this place is one of the best spots in Houston if your looking for some good food for a good price. Honorable mention to the drinks. I ordered a water of watermelon and it was so good. All of the fruit waters are made with fresh fruit and it really reflects in...

Food is good just not very seasoned the potatoes in the pambazo were not seasoned much but it was good. We had the quesadilla de flor de calabaza and it had too many jalapeños but it was still good. The salsas were too spicy for my taste and no salt at all.(my preference is a bit salted) We also had the tacos de suadero and pastor they were good. We went around 7 pm and it was still a little busy Plenty of parking Staff was ok. We will definitely go back to try the other dishes though

Really, really good tortas! They are huge! I barely finished half and left the other half. It was delicious. What you see is the half that's left, that's how big they are. A hidden gem. The tacos are also the best I've had in Houston, for real! Forget all those overpriced chain restaurants with their strange food, these are real tacos.

customer service was great. I like how they had a variety of fresh fruit water, and they make it on the spot. I order an alfafa and guava fresh water which is hard to find at other restaurants. The tortas are bigger than other places, but they need to do better on the flavor (seasoning)
