First off was hideous. The toilet paper roll was on the ground. The toilet wouldn't flush. There's stuff all over the ground in the bathroom. The sink was filthy. I went there kind of late. When I got up to the counter I ordered the chalupa $5 box. Which is what I normally order. And then the total came out to so ask the guy behind the counter why it was cuz I didn't understand how a $5 box could come out to $5.91 when it's only 5. Because sales taxes only eight cents on the dollar so that would be more like 40 cents . And not after I said that the guy behind the counter told me it was tax. So I re explained to him how taxes only eight cents on the dollar . And he told me I don't know man I'm just doing my job. So when he handed me my receipt I look for the price and I realized you charged me 5:49 for the $5 box. Troy pointed it out to him hey bro see you charge me 5:49 and not $5. Shrugged and said I don't know I was like well I mean it's only $5 can you charge me only $5 at that point the manager intervened and explain to me how the $5 boxes are no longer $5 it is now $5.49 for a $5 box. Which is fine I don't mind that and I'm glad he explained it to me. I kind of feel like the first guy should have been able to explain that to me. He really didn't seem that motivated to even figure out what the issue was. Anyway that was my experience . So that is why I gave you the only three stars. Read moreI don't know where to begin. I think I'm going to give up on fast food restaurants. I'm very judgy when it comes to my money and also customer service which I have been doing for over 16 years. Tonight I am confused how you have a whole crew of new people and one manager that is overworked and frustrated at a simple order that they messed up completely. Like I get you got a lot going on but if I am upset you as a manager do not get upset and confrontational you apologize and you rectify the situation. You diffuse the agitation of your customer. Instead I get in an opinionated defensive and argumentive employee handling things at the window. Then he wants to justify his attitude and make excuses for having a new set of people working. That is part of management, you manage your job and your employees. Simple. After we went over the order again for the 5th time from the first time to this second go around. We get the order AND again it's not right. I'm glad we didn't leave the window and stayed in there to make sure otherwise we would be doing it a third time. LISTEN the take away here is if you decide to come here deal with a faulty speaker, attitude from the employees and messed up orders. Read moreI've not been here during the day. As a fulltime student i usually finish my homework after midnight. This particular location is in a sketchy part of Houston but the criminal element has taken a dive. I don't have to tell you about Bissonnet and Beltway 8 😱 I mostly go in the Drive-through and the guy who runs the window is very thorough and consistent. I've heard people try to be rude to him but addresses it professionally and firm. When you ask you ask for extra hot sauce you don't get dirty looks like i experienced at McDonalds 👎 This location moved from Cook and Bissonnet next to the Popeyes a few years back. Most of the OG staff has moved on for those of you that would visit it back in 2004 like myself.
