for you. I said why not he said normally when people like you come in they pick this one (pointing to his initial suggestion) I said sir I don’t want that I’d like this one. Don’t take me being a black girl as I’m inculcated that’s rude. He says but you know it’s heart and pork stomach.. yes I understood that and that what I choose. He said ok. I sat down and put my “pho” together but it was not rice noodle it was some kinda fat noodles like udon noodles. I’m half way through my soup eating with chop sticks when he came over and said “I think you will like to use this” I took the plastic fork and just sat it down on the table irritated!!! Then to make matters worse all of a sudden they switched from playing Vietnamese music to Afrobeat. I was like ok now I’m uncomfortable as hell. I got up ask for a Togo paid and left. Never have I ever experienced anything like this before!!! Especially not at a Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, or Thai restaurant!!! I’ll never be back!!!...
Read morePHO The pho at this place is alright, but I found it to be on the expensive side. While the taste was decent, the high prices made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. Considering the value for money, I’m not sure if I would choose to come back for pho here. MILK TEA The milk tea here was a bit disappointing. There was an excessive amount of ice in the drink, which took away from the flavor. Moreover, the crystal boba pearls were surprisingly small, leaving me wanting more. Overall, I feel there are better options out there for milk tea lovers. PARKING Finding parking at this establishment can be quite challenging, especially on weekends. The parking plot is small, and it’s hard to find a spot during peak hours. Taking all of these experiences into account, I’m unsure if I would choose to come back. Each aspect of the visit had its drawbacks, making it difficult for me to justify a...
Read moreI walked in and was hit straight in the face with the pungent umami shrimp paste auroma, which is how I know my food is going to be bomb. This place proves my theory about restaurants with small menu being superior to those with a huge menu. Huge restaurants which offer a wide variety of dishes have to compromise their quality for quantity, because most ingredients are frozen, and they use whatever toppings, leaves and sauces that are more accessible, instead of those that are complimentary to the dish. This place only have a few menu items, but they nail every single one of them. Everything is good and tastes how it's supposed to taste. They don't short you on the toppings or skip/substitute the herbs and leaves. So far I've tried phở, bún mắm, bún riêu, bún bò Huế, bánh canh cua, hủ tiếu Nam Vang. Everything slaps. I will come back to try...
