2018: Glad to see there was a location across from TDECU after UH 2018 spring game. Location was empty, fairly clean & drama free. But, had difficult time ordering when young black guy on the register did everything but take my order. He was more about trying to flirt & pickup one female guest, while I waited to place my order. He also keep engaging coworkers off the clock w lengthy conversation away from the counter as guests waited to be helped w a be "right there". The only reason that I didn't give them a worse review was they prepared my food exactly as I had asked, SUPRISED-but hey, that's what I'm paying for-but, was just worried Romeo hadn't been paying attention as I placed my order. So, while I noticed a few areas of concern (street/homeless people inside to use restroom; one eldery guy took so long I left), it was a dreary Saturday in April, so didn't experience any drama and enjoyed my meal. I'd go back only if I were attending a sporting event @ Robertson. I'll echo one reviwers comment of going there when the right employees are working and you'll be ok, not the highschool crew after 3 pm-I believe him. I guess, I got lucky.
Update: visited the location in March 2019 and found several things: 1) the staff was poorly trained, prepared my order incorrectly several times and the store was less than clean; 2) that the students from Jack Yates were loud, aggressive, ill mannered and traveled in large packs loitering looking for drama, which turned me off as a patron; 3) that day several sheriff deputies were call to a disturbance near the store (see photos). The entire experience was unsettling, so I have decided to avoid this location all together. I suggest you...
Read moreHorribly run Wendy's. This place has two soda machines but one has been out of order for at least 3 months. The other one is normally out of 1/3 of the available sodas. The picture of the floor you see is the cleanest you will ever see it. Normally there is a puddle of water surrounding it and the seats around it.
There is a creepy black guy that works there at night and steals cash. If you pay in cash he will "give you a discount" even if you didn't want one. He actually followed me into the bathroom tryjng to take my order once and another time blocked me from entering the store at 9pm stating they closed his register. In reality he's stealing cash payments.
I just want to go in, order, and get the soda that I want from a working machine without being harassed. You can't do that at this horribly run Wendy's.
(So I went back a little over a week later and they ran out of diet soda half way through me filling up my cup. If you keep running out of something then you order more because people obviously want to buy it. Who is running this place. What kind of business owner wants to keep turning off customers by not ordering the product...
Read moreI deliver with UBER Eats. My best friend and I are one of the highest rated and most dependable delivery drivers in America. I say that because we travel and deliver with Uber Eats as a team. One complication we run into, is not knowing if a lobby is, or is not open for pickups. Yet, I see many locations across the U.S. (especially Wendy's and/or McDonalds locations) that there is an "Open Lobby" sign in their window. I don't require an explanation for why signs are or are not up, I just ask that the signs placed are accurate.
An added note, I normally don't complain about this kind of stuff. But had the lady working behind the counter not been rude in response to me asking about their locked doors, I probably would've let this go too.
(I canceled this $9.50 order BTW. By the time I walked back to the car to get in line, 5 more cars showed up. There were already 5 cars there.)
Currently, we are delivering in the busy and beautiful city of Houston Texas. I love Wendy's Crispy chicken sandwhich with no pickles, 2 pieces of cheese, add mayo, and fries, and a...
