We recently had the pleasure of dining at Caribbean Vibes Jamaican restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The flavors and authenticity of the dishes were truly outstanding.
One dish that stood out to me was the jerk chicken with rice and peas. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with a tantalizing blend of spices, and it had a nice smoky flavor from being grilled to perfection. The rice and peas were cooked to perfection, with each grain of rice perfectly fluffy and the peas adding a nice texture. The combination of flavors was simply heavenly.
Adding to the Jerk I highly recommend the cabbage with fried ripe plantains. The cabbage was cooked to perfection, with a slight crunch and a burst of flavor. The fried ripe plantains added a touch of sweetness that perfectly complemented the savory flavors of the cabbage. It was a truly delightful combination.
But the real star of the show was the curry chicken. The curry was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The chicken was tender and juicy, and it soaked up all the delicious flavors of the curry. The dish was served with the same layout of rice and peas and cabbage with fried ripe plantains, and it was a match made in culinary heaven.
It was our pleasure Caribbean Vibes. Salute from Alfred and Dwight (Agility Van Lines | We bring the local approach to long distance moving). Read moreOnly reason why this place is getting three stars is because I had a problem with ordering through DoorDash with them. I ordered at around 1:40pm A woman called me from the restaurant at around 2:15pm and told me I had to wait an hour for oxtail and veggies, I said it was OK. They canceled my order an hour later when I’m expecting my food to be done which of course im going to be upset. Their reasoning : delivery drivers were coming to pick up the order but it still wasn’t ready yet. I called back got the explanation, that’s what I got and I asked is the oxtail ready now ? I was told yes but when I check on Door dash its sold out and after a while its not a choice at all like its completely off the menu. to add on top off that it’s already 4pm and I’m not cool with having to wait for food that’s been under the heat lamp just drying away. It’s not fresh anymore so reluctantly imma have to order somewhere else. I’m extremely annoyed with the fact that they couldn’t call me back to let me know that they were going to cancel my order and I spent $60 on that. I got $34 refunded and a express delivery but it’s the principle of just communicating with your customers especially if it’s gonna be that expensive
Update: I ordered the stew chicken because I really didn’t want any other place for dinner. Im sure it’ll be fine but I would really hate to limit myself from ordering from this place. It’s very rare to find real Jamaican...

We ordered takeout- one oxtail and one stew chicken dinner. Both dishes were flavorless. It was terrible. They were pricey and the amount of food that was given was small. To top it off, after we left the store, we decided to look at the receipt because the amount of the bill seemed a little high for two meals. We then realized the lady that rang up the bill took it upon herself to pay herself a tip by adding the tip to our bill and credit card without authorization from us and also did not inform us that a tip would be added automatically. This is not a high end restaurant, it is a little hole in the wall. I should decide whether or not I want to tip and how much to tip. This was the first and last time we will be going to this restaurant. ...
