Five Guys — Restaurant in Howell Township

We had heard they were good, but the nearest to us is nearly an hour away. Then we had to pick up family two hours away, and no one had eaten, so we specifically sought a Five Guys on our route home. Their menu is simple, reminiscent of a malt shop--the soda now is using that hundred-option Coca-cola machine, but they make excellent milk shakes in a wide variety of flavors. Three of us had burgers, which were excellent, and one ordered a hot dog, Hebrew National brand, and was very happy with it. We also had the fries--I had thought I ordered two small orders and meant to order three, but they put one full cup in the bag and then dumped two more scoops into the bag on top of that. The fries are "regular" (that is, not shoestring or steak fries or curly), with a crispy exterior and a soft interior; they make them from fresh potatoes, and have bags of potatoes along the wall to prove it, along with the name of the farm from which they were purchased. Everyone liked the fries, and we did finish them, but I don't know whether we would have finished two orders between the four of us. Toppings for the sandwiches are free, including grilled mushrooms, grilled onions; if you want cheese or bacon, those are extra. The standard burger has two patties, but with my recent dietary problems I got the small, which was ample.

Okay this was my second time here I wanted to give it three and a half Stars because I think the burgers are good but I think they could be better ,,visits between my first time and second time we're scattered because I went on a diet to try to lose weight and I cut out burgers and I did very well but they still tasted the same they could be a little bit more flavorful I had a bacon California cheeseburger ,,bacon was good yeah I know off the diet if you're going off ,,go off head first so I did,, the fries were good I even did a malt vinegar in the ketchup and some separately on the fries I know vinegar is in ketchup big deal I wanted to try a little bit more kick but that was pretty good overall I'll go back again to try to bump them up some more I'm going to try a different five guys next time see if there's any difference at all but the people I've gone with first time and second time are big fans that's why I gave it four instead of three keep up the good work there guys I'll be back much sooner I think maybe I'll try something different I'll explore the menu a little bit more,, and yeah I know I forgot to take dopey pictures next time I will or I'll have someone take pictures...

Giving Five guys a Five star specifically because of Victor. I not only am a customer here regularly but I also pick up doordash and grub hub orders from here and Victor has been helping me with my orders for years now, always making sure I get my orders in a timely manner and that I am being helped, which none of the other employees at this store do for me. Victor always seems to be working as hard as he can and prioritizing making sure that the customer experience is pleasant and efficient which has stood out to me when comparing him to all the other employees, which seem to not care as much. I hope Victor is appreciated at this store and want to make sure his hard work is noticed which is why I'm leaving this review after dealing with him for about 2 years now whenever I visit this five guys.
