The literal definition of bush league describes our visit!!! Just for context here is the Webster definition. Not of the highest quality or sophistication; second-rate. I ordered a Lemon Drop martini and it was served without a sugar rim or a lemon twist and looked and tasted more like the lemon juice from a plastic squeeze bottle than a crafted cocktail! When I pointed these things out to the server, and requested that my next cocktail be served correctly her response was and I quote…”she’s going to be so mad at me, we have to go in the back and get sugar.” Keep in mind that the “bartender” was also the “manager”!!! In a nutshell we were given subpar service, because either the bartender/manager or the server was too lazy to go in the back and get sugar for our cocktails! Moving on to the kitchen, manicured nails should be expected for everyone handling food and or condiments for guests!!! LONG painted nails for women or men, should not be allowed!!! We will return, because everyone is entitled to an “off day”! I really hope our next visit is worth the effort to return!!!!

Really wish I hadn’t read all of the hype about this place. I was so eager to try it and really had high expectations. What an utter disappointment. Service was not good. Food took forever to come out. 25 mins for onion rings is ridiculous. Chicken sandwich was just about the worst I’ve had. The breading was super thick and chicken had been sliced so thin you could barely see it on the sandwich. You’d think with it being so thin it would at least be tender. Nope. It was so rubbery it was inedible. Burger was ordered medium and came out well done and dry but the flavor was decent. Sadly, I’ve had better burgers at Chilis. We ordered fries but they never arrived. (I will say the onion rings were delicious.) I really wanted to love this place but It was a waste of $50. We didn’t finish our mediocre food and didn’t take the leftovers to go. We are new to Parker County and there are too many other places to try to go back to Bush League.

This is an EXCELLENT sports bar! The moment we walked in, we were greeted and taken to our table. Our server was Diane, who gave impeccable service! She was upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic, and was always smiling. Next up were the drinks. I had their Tailgater's Punch and my smarter ⅔ had their Alaskan Amber. My second drink was a Roughrider, root beer with vanilla and funnel cake flavoring. All were outstanding, both in flavor and in size! Let's not forget the food. We got their Jalapeno Cheese Curds, she got their Chin Music burger, and I got the Heater burger. Wow, all items were over the top. We told Diane these were the VERY BEST burgers we've had! We also got their homemade onion rings. WOW! There are the BIGGEST and TASTIEST I've had! Another server introduce me to Kelsie, the manager. I shared with her how phenomenal the business is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business!

My husband has been to this restaurant a couple of times and he loved it. He loved the food and the drinks so he wanted to take me. We went tonight and I’ll start by saying his drink was great. He got the tailgaters punch. My drink was supposed to be a margarita with pineapple juice and coconut milk in it. I should have thought about the fact that it looked like a plain margarita with coconut around the rim because, well, it tasted like a plain margarita with coconut around the rim. I ordered another drink and they were out of the banana rum they put in it. 😞 So, I ended up with water. Our food…I got the Texas Leaguer. It has “candied jalapeños and cream cheese” on it. There was absolutely no sign of candied jalapeños. It was more like cream cheese with jalapeños mixed in. It was so freaking hot I couldn’t eat it, which that’s the thing about jalapeños. It’s the luck of the draw. My husband ordered the Change Up. You can get it grilled or breaded and fried. He ordered it grilled just like he had done last week and loved it. This time, it came with a coating of flour on the outside. When he told the waitress about it, she talked to the cook. He said that it always has flour on the outside. Did I mention he got the same burger last week? He told the waitress that it didn’t have flour on it last week but she told him it always has flour on it. Then the cook came out of the kitchen to argue his case. Ummm…nope! Oh but wait…there’s more…my husband then told them he didn’t want it and they said they would take it off the ticket. Then, the manager came out and talked at him, not to him. He was done and told her that he would just pay for it because he was getting more upset over the entire fiasco, and she told him he needed to let her finish. She then told him that you have to specify if you want it without flour. How would you know this since it makes no mention of it on the menu? When I look up online to find out how to use flour as a binder, everything says to mix it in the meat, not roll the patty in it. We should have not been able to see the flour if it was done correctly. Anyway, all of this to say, $68 plus tip and we ended up coming home to eat pretzels and trail mix. We will not be going back there. It’s one thing to have a crappy cook but to make a huge scene by coming out and arguing that something he got the week before without a coating of flour always has a coating of flour on it to “bind” it. When someone wasn’t at our table arguing with him, they were standing at the cook’s window talking and pointing at us. That’s very professional of them. Oh yeah, and they may want to try doing it correctly because his hamburger patty was falling apart and falling out of the burger. Do yourself a favor and steer clear unless you’re just looking to have an argument with someone. Oh and...

So we decided to try Bush League Bar this afternoon for lunch. We tried previously to go Friday evening for dinner, and they were so busy we decided to go elsewhere. So we showed up around 12:45 pm on Sunday, June 2nd. The hostess at the door said nothing to us when we walked in, and then she looked at us while we were trying to find a seat at the bar. We did find two empty seats, and we were greeted by Hannah (the manager). We quickly ordered a couple of drinks and at first were very satisfied. Then, about 10 minutes later, I asked Hannah her recommendations from the kitchen, and she told us any of the wraps, and the burgers were a great choice. Mind you, nobody told us how backed up the kitchen was at this point. We proceeded to order a southwestern wrap and an order of onion rings to share between my wife and me. This was approximately 12::55-1:05 pm. Then we continued to finish our first drinks and watch the Rangers play. About 30 mins later, I started to wonder about our food since I was very hungry. We waited until almost 2 pm. until I couldn't take the wait anymore. We told Hannah that we were ready to cash out. She says "yeah the scratch kitchen gets us every time," and the "hostess should have told you the kitchen takes 45-1 hour to get food". I'm sorry, aren't you the "manager". I was absolutely pissed by this point. I won't ever return, as they weren't even that busy. Not to mention, we never even received as much as an apology. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere from now on!...

We came in at probably the busiest time possible. The host was very sweet and explained that there would be a bit of a wait for food, but we came to watch the Rangers play and knew we would be there a while anyway so we didn’t mind. We chose to sit at the bar and we were quickly greeted by our bartender Hannah. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best service we have ever received anywhere! She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire food and cocktail menu and we were shocked to hear that she was also the manager! We were in a prime spot to observe everything going on around us and even when she was encountered with a problem, she handled them quickly and efficiently. It’s a real skill to be able to multi task like that and still give incredible service, especially when it’s so busy! We split some fried pickles and onion rings for an appetizer and they were amazing! The onion rings are super thick cut and cooked to perfection. We then got a burger each and could hardly finish them because they were so big. I was happy to take it home and finish it later because it was delicious! Best burger in Parker County by far. Needless to say, we can’t wait to be back! I wish I had gotten photos of everything but we were so immersed in the fun atmosphere we just sat and enjoyed ourselves for a...
