If you want outstanding pizza, then you will get it at Mamma's Pizza. However, if good customer service and getting the correct order are important you will have to go elsewhere.
I have tried to order from this place on three different occasions. The online ordering has never worked, as far as I can tell. The first two times I tried to call in, nobody even answered the phone.
This last time I finally got through, but I had to repeat my order 3 times due to all the background noise. I ordered a 16" pizza, which was repeated back to me.
When I arrived to pick it up, I was given a 20" pizza - an enormous difference in total size and cost. I stated that I had ordered a 16" pizza and was told the box is bigger than the pizza and to "just sign the paper" (it is bigger, but it was still a 20" pizza). I asked if I was being charged for a 20" pizza when I had ordered a 16" pizza and was told "yes, all you have to do is sign the receipt". I stated again that I had ordered a 16" pizza. This time I was told the order said 20" and again to sign the receipt. She was clearly getting impatient with me and told me would have sign the receipt or wait for for a new pizza to be made.
I was in a hurry. So, as I signed the receipt I told her that I would not be coming back to a place that wasn't willing to correct its mistakes. She took my signed receipt, shrugged her shoulders and just walked off.
I am a person that is true to my word. I will not be going back.
Since there is no place to respond to the manager's comment, I will update here:
Thank you for "listening" to my review comments. You indicate that I yelled and cussed at your employee. In fact, I did neither of those things. So you have a problem with a lying employee that cannot take accountability for her actions.
This is YOUR problem. Fix it. (Unless, of course, you think you will stay in business by being dismissive of your customers' legitimate complaints and not dealing with your employees attitudes toward you customers). You have lost...
Read moreUpdate #2, due to another ridiculous response from owner. No, there was definitely no soccer team in the restaurant, in fact there was only 6 people there including us! We gave your pizza restaurant a legitimate 2nd chance, but it failed badly, and we gave it an honest review on the internet, not social media, and you only want to make excuses and try to make us out to be the bad guys. We didn’t make the bad pizza, we didn’t cheap out on toppings and we didn’t make excuses!!! Update to response from owner. As a matter of fact, yes we did request a fresh pizza, but as I already stated, it came out of the warmer, it was very clearly NOT made fresh! And yes to reiterate, all the pizza we tried was BLAND!!! As for being in business for a long time is great, but we all know every business, there are good locations and bad locations, this clearly in our opinion is not a good one at all. Maybe instead of trying to blast us for an honest opinion, I’d try fixing the the actual problem with the restaurant! But thank you for replying the way you did, it makes our decision of never returning even easier.
We had been here for lunch shortly after they first opened, there was no buffet then, but we ordered a fresh made pizza. It was ok at best, quite bland and toppings were pretty scarce, so we left disappointed and hadn't been back until lunch today, thinking we'd give it another try. We were offered the buffet, which sounded great, all you can eat pizza, salad bar and a drink. This was so disappointing to say the least. The pizza clearly was not fresh, it tasted like it was cooked earlier and then sat in a warmer before brought out, so much for fresh pizza. The selection was also very limited and of the different pizzas put out while we were there, 2 were no toppings just cheese. We felt a little bit like we were at a kids pizza chain. The only positive thing I can say, the salad bar was alright... we...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped in to grab a pizza for lunch. The inside looks nice, the staff taking orders were friendly. However, right away I noticed the guy making pizzas had his mask not all the way on his face and using his bare hands to put toppings on pizzas. Normally, this might not bother me so much, but during the pandemic, I’m a little bit more on edge about sanitary measures. We ordered our pizza and we each got 2 house salads.
When our salads arrived, they were big, but just chopped romaine and tomatoes. Kind of boring, but that’s fine. As we started to eat our salads, we noticed there were dark specks in them. Upon further inspection, we discovered it was dirt and immediately stopped eating them.
We summoned a waitress and she got the manager. The waitress agreed that it was gross. Everyone was friendly. The manager told us they get their lettuce from a farmer’s market. That’s fine! But lettuce still should be washed before serving it, no matter where you get it. We were refunded the costs of the 2 salads.
Our pizza was fine, but at that point, we just weren’t really feeling it and unfortunately, the salad issue kind of ruined it for us. I’m not so sure we...
