Golden Chick — Restaurant in Hudson Oaks

I'm upset and disappointed. I have purchased meals here daily for my corporation & employees for many years (maybe $10K annually!!!). They had a progam in 2023 where they provide a card to track meals and after 5 Stars, you get a free combo meal. I was reassured by Every Manager & the Owner multiple times that this card would not expire & it maintains it's value. I told them (and they know who I am) that I wanted to save my full ones as gifts.

Eventually, my Great Grandfather came into town, and I happen to know his favorite place to eat is Golden Chick. I offered him a free meal at his favorite place, for his travels, using my corporate card with 5 stars. I called Golden Chick and verified that they would honor this purchase prior to sending him up there with my card. They said "Absolutely!! No problem!!".

When my 80 year old Great Grandfather arrived about 20 minutes later to this location, and tried to order a Simple #1, they denied him usage of the card. Not only that, but they TOOK the card from him that I gave him, and told him that he still had to pay for his meal. I was ultimately incredibly embarrased that their management promised to honor this, over and over, even right before his arrival, and denied it upon his arrival. I'm taking my corporate business elsewhere, and will NEVER visit this establishment again. I hope it was worth the $8 to you guys. You've failed to agree to the deals you have made to our company, and took it out on an 80 Year old man. I can't...

SO TIRED of getting ripped off by fast food places. Enough so that I'm asking myself why I buy it! No more. This place was great the first few times, but not only was our pickup order 10 min late (and they were NOT busy), but they left out part of my order. The other thing is weird: I have never seen such tiny chicken legs. I truly thought that they were wings...like the drumstick wings at Wingstop...they were that small. They have to be doing that purposely bc I have never seen drumsticks like that anywhere, let alone a CHICKEN place. I feel like that is a huge ripoff too...they are sourcing tiny legs to screw the public over while charging the same or more than their competitors, who serve normal sized meat. But the service in fast food places these days is such that sadly, I EXPECT things to be missing, errors on orders, bad service. Time to stop eating the unhealthy stuff and having these establishments get money for literally nothing. The manager here needs to step up. Rant over, we...

Could have been the location or a bad batch but I ordered a 6 piece spicy tenders and they were very spicy but dry, tasted either old or just gross? More like old. Fries were dang delicious though lol not sure why with how bad that chicken was.. just be warned.

I really believe Golden chick has some if not the best tenders out their for fast food joints. Though, chicken express has been more consistent. I really wish they would all be consistent with juicy flavored thin-ish crispy breading, with a balanced amount of spice when requested. I guess now I get why some locations only serve regular and gives out zing packets...
