Extremely terrible service. My grandfather called an hour before we got there requesting a table and when we got there, all the tables was dirty and no one sat us down or gave us any menus. No one even muttered a hello towards us. We waited around 30 minutes, we was just talking to our family politely waiting and the other table who was already eating, was mad at the servers for us! That table said “why don’t you clean a table off and let these old people sit down? They came to eat! What kind of service is this?” The manager woman actually was arguing back at that table? Saying something like “we are short staffed”. But that doesn’t mean it’s okay how we was treated. These people do not care about costumers or about cleaning. Very dirty place. I wish I could talk about the food but I didn’t even get a chance to taste it. Our party of 5 was seated promptly at our reservation time of 6:00pm. We ordered alcohol, then dinner, no appetizers; our meals did not arrive until 7:15 pm! Meanwhile, the restaurant was exceptionally noisy; the floors are hardwood, and the walls and ceilings are plaster or plasterboard. No sound absorbing material to be seen. This only got worse when the music and dancing got started in the function room directly above. It was nearly impossible to hear what people were saying at our table. While at least three of our party were quite happy with the food, my steak tips were tough as old shoeleather. The vegetables were just one of those commerical frozen medleys from a bag that you get at the supermarket, served unadorned. The mashed potatoes were good. I like the way I feel like I’m not in America when I’m there. And I used to love their garlicky seasoned olive oil, olives and bread rolls that they serve free if you get an entrée, (but charge you if you just want that and drinks). I say I used to like it because last time I was there the seasoned olive oil was different, not so good. I think there is a problem because there seems to be a lot of turnover. There were 2 or 3 bartenders I really liked but they’re gone... I love fish but not with the bones still in it! Ordered a beef shebab thing once but meat was so tough I couldn’t eat it. Frozen vegetables, even in the summer when there are fresh produce farmstands all over the place? 🤔 Weak drinks - I always get beer or wine. They have pour control things on the bottles. Overpriced!
