McDonald's — Restaurant in Hueytown

Sign says 24 hours but they are always closed between 2am and 4am. Too bad the true hard working people can't stop and get a meal on the way home but the fast food industry workers want $15 an hour.

Update: 7/16/22.. Pulled up at 3am and they said they were closed. Change your sign, change your website, change your staff or change your owner/management. I will constantly leave a bad review when I receive bad service. I will edit your hours and every option I have to give you a negative review till someone steps up to do the right thing.. Which should be to close this location till the owner understands the customer is always right. This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and as far as I'm concerned, Hueytown and surrounding areas would benefit from the closing of this location. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Update: 11/13/22.. nothing changed except the orange cones in BOTH drive through lanes to indicate they are closed. Seriously, close this location permanently as no one wants to work. I'd rather visit the off name brand in Russia than to attempt to give this location another chance. Corporate greed at its true finest. McDonald's, you Seriously got a lot of explaining to do when it comes to who can open a franchise. I guess the " new normal " is keeping a sign that says open 24 hours a day and closing for a few hours. Take notes from Blockbuster, at least they knew their demise was coming and jumped ship before it got nasty... And please, do not email me, contact me or reply to this review. Every time I review, you reach out to me. Reach out to your franchisee and ask them why they are giving you a bad name. Or better yet, audit this location and take it over. Do something besides just letting it continue to give...

Update Unfortunate this McDonalds is no longer 5 stars to me. the last 5 times I have gone, the service was super slow. I put in carry out orders and mobile orders ahead of time and so far every time it has taken at least 20-25 minutes to get my food. Three out of the last 5 times I ended up having to go in and my food was just sitting on the counter while employees seemed to just roam around or chat it up with each other. One employee was talking, laughing and cussing with a customer while leaning up against the counter while I stood there waiting on my curbside order that never came and they had to make it from scratch. They also seem to now 'pull up' most people instead of getting your food at the Window in the drive-thru now. The last 3 times I've gotten something through the drive-thru there were at least 5 other cars pulled up as well waiting on their food too. The service that was once super fast and friendly is now slow and terrible like a lot of other McDonalds. Update

The only McDonalds I could give 5 stars to that I’ve personally been to. The drive thru moves pretty quick. On average I get my food in less than ten minutes. (Including the time it takes to go through the line, order and then have it handed to you) The food is hot, the employees aren’t mean or act like you’re a massive headache for being there, and the food is generally accurate 9...

I was in the drive threw with about 15 other cars everyone behind and in front of me gone they told me to pull around for two cheeseburgers and a happy meal. So I did and waited 20-25 min… I had to get out of my car to go in and ask about my food! The manager on duty is who I’m guessing asked me if she could help me and I told her I had been given my drinks and asked to pull around to where they walk ur food out but then the lines emptied and I was still sitting, the manager did refund my money and still gave me the food! She was super sweet I’ve seen her In There before! I have worked in customer service for over 15 years I know things happen but after I pulled around a girl had come up to me and said what was your order ?? Then I never heard anything or saw anyone! All this to say the management at this McDonald’s is amazing, she literally just handle the issue no comments no excuses just it’s on us tonight!!! She should get promoted or a bonus! McDonald to me there is always something either attitude, cold food, wrong food, attitude, or ice cream machine is broke or we r out of ketchup and bbq!!! Lol not to be funny but it’s the truth! I know they were busy and things do slip sometimes but the manager literally handled it and with amazing customer care and service!!!...
