I placed my order on the app at 10:50pm. I arrived at the Sonic at 11:25pm. I checked in and it took 20 mins (11:45pm) for the screen to change and say the name of the employee that was going to be out with my food. I waited 10 extra mins (11:55pm) for my order and it still didn't not come I hit the button and the guy said he was looking at my order and was going to send it right out. Keep in mind the store closes at midnight. 10 more mins pass one for the employees came to the car ( no food in her hands) asked what was I waiting on. When I told her my mobile order she went to go get it . She brings back my order (12:15) my corn dogs were warm, my fries and tots were ice cold, my Hi-C that wasn't suppose to have any ice had ice in it and the ice had melted making my drink watered down, my coke barely had ice in it but it was watered down and my limeade tasted like nothing but water with a hint of flavor. I went to the window and nobody acknowledged me so i went to the drive-thru. Granted they still had a line of cars in the drive-thru I went ahead and got in the drive-thru line. I got to the speaker and the person proceeded to tell me that they were closed. I told them was wrong with my order and they did not correct my drinks and brought me tots and fries that tasted like they had been fried in salt instead of grease. I would like a full refund for what I spent. I was highly disappointed by my food and was not able to enjoy any of what I brought I ended up cooking...
Read moreI don't usually have bad experiences here, but yesterday, I placed an order through the drive thru, and a female associate came out to the car, took my card and ran it through the card reader that is on the outside of the building. A few minutes after that, a male associate named Brandon came out and said that my card didn't take. I showed him on my bank account where the charge for the meal was pending, so he asked me to wait until I got up to the window to see if it goes through. Once I got up to the window, another individual home I presume to be the manager, told me that it did not go through on his system and, after much debate, convinced me to let them run my card again. I showed them at that time that there were now TWO charges pending on my account. I knew something was wrong with that, but both of them assured me that one of the pending charges would somehow drop off. Well, this is why they work at Sonic and not at the bank. Read moreDecided to visit the Sonic in Hueytown, AL during happy hour for a Root 44 frozen lemonade, both large drinks were correctly made an product tasted efficiently. Restrooms were maintained an outside eatery area was in order like any busy Sonic. Only defect of visit was drive through intercom to place your order, screens work but communication device wasn't properly working. I could hardly hear the server on the other end an same I guess her end on the machine. Also number on my stall was unavailable so had to tell the server where I was which was a tad bit annoying.
Price: $$ & 1/2
Pro: clean restrooms upon visit, order was correct, parking lot was presentable, server was respectful.
Con: Order mechanism for drive through wasn't function correctly, had to tell server on intercom which stall I was occupying, intercoms also fizzled an have to raise your voice in order to hear you...
Final Note: Please Sonic fix your machine's in the ordering stalls & review notes...
