Food (2 Stars- Overall, the dishes had good portions and were seasoned well): TUSCAN CHARGRILLED OCTOPUS- The octopus tentacle portion was not representative to the description (~ 7in tentacle in length and < 1in in top cut of tentacle vs "impressive colossal octopus tentacle"). DOUBLE BONE-IN PORK CHOP- The doneness was well, but dry; therefore, overcooked. The creamy risotto was dry (not creamy); therefore, was not cooked slow and not continuously stired (overcooked). SALMON IN LEMON BUTTER SAUCE (NTSR) Service (3 Stars- The waitress was approachable. I provided the above feedback to her and she heard me and apologized. No more and no less.) Atmosphere (3 Stars- Good music selection and volume.) I would not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion nor for dinner. I recommend others to opt for the appetizers and split it. However, if you do not want to make your own drinks go ahead and stop by the bar.

We had a wonderful dinner Friday evening at E & V. Sat outside and enjoyed a meal and service. They are the fine dining choice for Palmas Del Mar. great craft cocktails including a Smoked Mezcal that comes with a great presentation. The food including a delicious Pear, feta and prosciutto was one of the best we ever tasted and a very generous portion. Our entree we shared was a special osso bucco filled ravioli. The light sauce and the perfectly Al dente pasta could not have been more delicious or creative. The server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. This was our second visit and we can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for something a little more than traditional local fare we highly recommend.

Yum! Best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Beautiful ambiance. Chocolate cake was really delicious as well. Just came for dessert this trip. Ok. Came back for more. Had the balsamic pancetta Brussel sprouts, the potato gratinato, the beet feta salad with salmon, spaghetti cacciio e Pepe, the lemoncello mascarpone tart. Everything was unbelievable. Salmon cooked to perfection, homemade pasta, the lemon tart is a really special cheesecake. Loved it all. The people next to us had the octopus carpaccio and couldn’t say enough about it. I’ll try that one next time. And I hear that the pear salad is amazing. Seared pears, feta—amazingness.

Yum! Best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Beautiful ambiance. Chocolate cake was really delicious as well. Just came for dessert this trip. Ok. Came back for more. Upscale dining in Palmas - something that was sorely needed! We had steak with potatoes and an appetizer of Burrata. The steak was well-seasoned and the Burrata was delicious if unconventional, served on melon instead of toasted bread. Delicious!

Ambience-wise it’s ok. It got loud inside since the restaurant prioritizes seating over any decoration or structure that would baffle noise. Unfortunately typical in Puerto Rico, but easily dealt with and I hope it’s something they improve on.

Price per person was higher than average because we bought some very nice wine with our meal. 🤩

The service was excellent and the staff earned their gratuity. You can tell there’s whole team making sure everything is perfect. Overall E&V is an excellent spot and we’ll visit again!

Update: I have been going for brunch as well and today had, hands-down, the finest pancake I’ve ever eaten. Andrew and his team are top-notch and I’m glad Palmas finally has the breakfast spot...

I am so sad to write this , I am not that kind of person but I haven’t feel like this never ,this is the 3rd time we’ve been here at the restaurant because honestly the first 2 times we came was amazing , but we were having a nice time and one of my friend was on the phone with her family and this lady , I think her name is Glory , I am not sure ,came to our table to said she was disturbing other people in the restaurant when it was obviously a lie since there was only 1 table in the restaurant and they didn’t complain because I took the time to ask them …. We are never coming back , I been in a lot of places and been treated well and the way we felt we do not wish anybody to feel like that never , like we were doing something wrong or if we were not going to pay for the service , W.E at...
