I arrived at the store to pick up an online order cake, all to find out my order got removed from the system allegedly by an inexperienced new hire. To compensate for their team member's mistake, the staff members were in a rush to make my cake. They were able to complete the cake within an hour as promised. However, when my wife and daughter ate the cake, they found pieces of cake wraps inside the cake (see attached picture). Overall, the entire process was extremely inefficient, ineffective, unprofessional, and disappointed. Management, if you are reading this review, please train your staff to monitor online orders more thoroughly and maintain cake quality even during rush process. Staff, if you are reading this, please take ownership of your work. You might not be compensated properly, but your work matters, and this job will impact your future career, one way or the other. My fellow sweet lovers, if you are reading this, please be mindful of your online orders. Once in the ice cream shop, we were checking out the ice cream. I notice one of the workers (a male worker with purplish hair & glasses) was done with the prior customer but look like he did not want to service use. Then he came to us and asked what we wanted. I let him know what we wanted but he acted rude towards me rolling his eyes and asked several times what I wanted and I had already told him several times. The when I asked for a cone rolled his eyes again. We paid for our purchase, received our change and NO THANK YOU was said to us from the male worker. As we walked out we got a THANK YOU from the female worker instead.
I believe in customer service should be a plus if you work in a public business. We as customers are paying your a good service as well as the workerās salary.

UPDATE: They have different employees than when I was last there & I had GREAT service today. The young man who helped me was named STEVEN & he was so friendly, polite, talkative, engaged me in conversation more than just the normal "can I help you" that one would expect. When I asked to sample a flavor, Steven took the extra step of making sure that I was aware the flavor contained peanuts to ensure that I had no allergies. He smiled the whole time & was personable from the time we walked in to the time we walked out the door. He gave us the best experience at any Baskin Robbins location. I almost wanted to stop going to BR due to the bad service & rude employees before. Not just at this location but the Summerwood location, also. Hopefully other employees can take notes on customer service...
