My husband and I had lunch here today on recommendation from a local business professional. It was at the end of the lunch rush, so it was a bit busy. We were seated immediately upon arrival, placed our drink order, which came quickly. We then ordered our meals and waited and waited. Over 40 minutes later, we were given our sandwiches and two sides. The fries came out cold, so we sent them back. They came back out less than 3 minutes later only slightly warmer than before. The "house-made" chips were so greasy, we couldn't eat them. At $3.50 each, they were a complete waste of money. The other issue was that we didn't realize they were an additional charge. When we placed our order for our sandwiches, the waitress said, "and what side would you like?" We just assumed that they came with the sandwiches like at most places. When our bill came, that's when we realized they were charged separately. My husband only ate half his Big John sandwich because it was soggy and greasy and tasted strange. It was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and swiss, but was only fried chicken with pickles on a bun. My Westside Randy was just OK, but without dipping it in ranch dressing, was pretty flavorless. I managed to eat half, but couldn't finish it. The decor was cute with some interesting movie-themed memorabilia, but the noise level was obnoxious. We had a hard time hearing each other sitting at a small table. When we asked to speak to the manager about our food issues, etc., a pleasant young lady came over and said that she knew we had waited a very long time for our food and that our fries had come out cold so she refunded the price of our sides. While we appreciated that, we will not be back to this restaurant. Such a...
Read moreDuring our stay the four of us in our group felt very comfortable in the general environment, and a few of our servers were very attentive and friendly. Most of the food we ordered was as to be expected based on the pricing. The pimento cheese appetizer was very flavorful and well made! I ordered a margarita with salt on the rim which was $12, and when it arrived there was no salt on the glass. After waiting around 15-20 minutes of trying to catch someoneâs attention to get the salt added, I was offered a glass with salt on it. I was brought an additional cup with the salt rim that my drink hadnât been poured into to avoid me spilling half of my drink on the table. After a bit longer they took my glass and poured it into a glass with a salt rim. By then my margarita had already been watered down by the melted ice, and was still very strong. I finished about a quarter of the glass trying to just deal with the fact that it was strong but I couldnât finish it. I asked if I the drink could be removed from the bill or be discounted for the inconvenience. I spoke to the manager on duty twice during our visit and tried to compromise a solution but was only offered a free dessert which I did not accept because I ultimately would not eat it. After finishing the conversation and siting back at my table for about 10 minutes I was offered a 50% discount off the price of the drink. This was very helpful and friendly of her to have done but my main issue was why it took multiple conversations about my concerns for them to be resolved. This was our first Pinkyâs experience and I would probably not visit this location again after the service experience that we...
Read moreSo, full disclosure: we came here right after Pinky's opened and had an awful experience & vowed never to come back (I'm dramatic that way, lol) but I kept seeing the stellar reviews and a great friend of mine promised it was consistently good food so we tried again. Thank goodness we did!! My husband had the April special "Wu-Tang Burger" and he said it's the best burger he's ever eaten (and he's the pickiest eater ever) and it's April 25th, we just ate there, but he's already planning a return trip before the end of the month because he "can't let that burger get away" đ. Anyway, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and OH.MY.GOD. that was the best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had! It was so simple: just pickles with the chicken, no condiments, but it totally didn't need it because the sauce on the chicken was definitely the star of the thing. It was so crazy spicy (but not like ghost pepper spicy) but it had the best flavor !!! I've been trying to place the spices and peppers but I can't! It's just freaking crispy, and spicy, with yummy pickles, making it unbelievably delicious. Oh, and of course we got an order of Greg's fried pickles (honestly, we ended up getting two because our daughter ate almost all of the first one) which were perfect. I even ended up falling in love with a Pinky's 'Unicorn Tears' shirt and bought one for my daughter and I while I was there. Maybe next time I'll get to try the drink because it sounds delicious! Anyway, I'm so glad I gave Pinky's another chance! We will be...
