Kelly's in Fountain Valley was a high school favourite for everyone I knew. I'm glad to see that the original location and owners are still doing well!
Despite being named "Donuts and Burgers," the shop is well known (or at least amongst my circle) for their breakfast burritos. It's still the same as it's always been and as the one that was in the Fountain Valley location (+1 for consistency!), including the salsa. Salsa is a miss for me, but The Works absolutely more than makes up for it. I prefer to eat this with a ton of ketchup despite it being a burrito, since the hearty breakfast staples just work with it. Kelly's set the standard for breakfast burritos for all of us, and it's crazy that after all these years, there still isn't much competition. The burrito is loaded with eggs, ham, hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage. It sounds basic, but it's the basics done right. Nothing overly seasoned, no gimmicks or frills, and definitely no soggy potatoes here.

This place has the best seating!! I love the donuts, but realistically, you need to try out the hot items I had to have the breakfast burrito with link, sausage cheese, and eggs!
It was up very quickly in the process of ordering, Payne, and eating to gresseth in 10 minutes !
Breakfast burritos delicious but if you want flavor? Be sure to dump plenty of the salsa they will provide on that it will help add a little spice.
The donuts were moist delicious, and I cheated because I had a Bavarian cream and a chocolate glaze… I do not regret this

Lady at counter was very rude. My son (23 years old) went in to order and all she did was keep saying, "What do you want, what do you want." over and over. It was so over whelming for him. She scared him. He just pointed to the donuts in front of him, not even ordering what he wanted. Not sure why they have received good ratings for service! So disappointed as we just moved into the neighborhood and was excited to have a donut/sandwich shop we could walk to. BTW...donuts have a weird after taste on top of the bad service so we will not be...
