Pholuscious — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Quick background.. My partner and I travel throughout California to try pho at different restaurants. My mother's from Vietnam so I know authentic homemade pho including a vegan version. I've been to Vietnam and have had pho many times nearly everyday during my trips.

This restaurant is just for show with their bowls. They're stingy with their noodles. So much soup you have to fish for your noodles. Meatball pho and the vegan pho is the most bland we've ever had. I had to douse my vegan pho with the sauces hoison and Sriracha because it literally just tasted like hot water.

Unfortunate...I'm really disappointed with my experience here and felt like I wasted time and money eating their water noodles. Also they should serve Vietnamese soda chanh because it's a classic Vietnamese drink.

Very subpar and there's a competitive pho place walking distance next door to them called Pho Lab. Much much better flavor and their vegan pho is better so much there instead! You'll thank me.

Best pho of my life. Coming from someone who resides in garden grove I’ve tried every pho place. Hit or miss. But Pholuscious is delicious . I got a pho with meatballs , my husband garlic noodles with shrimp and the house special wings. I read out here that the wings came after the main course but the reason is because they make the wings to cook to order . When we got the wings they were bubbling hot. They are worth the wait I promise ! Spend that extra $ on them . Out of this world . This restaurant is family owned as well. Also there is a pho place next to them. And yes it is good BUT the quality here is way better . Not to mention the pho stays hot by the stone bowl. And it’s bigger ! Better for larger parties. The lady ( who I believe is the owner ) took my little baby on a stroll along the restaurant so we could eat our food in peace. Also try the house made hot sauce ! So good . I didn’t take a photo of my food cuz I was eating that...

This restaurant service is bad……… willl never come back!!! This restaurant is here for more than a year and finally I decided to give it a try because it’s close to home with my hope that if it’s good I will come back but……… it’s suck, I waited for more than 15 minutes for 1 Pho order to go!!!! I came in when the restaurant only have 2 tables then after my order more people come in ….. I asked the girl who took my order after I kept seeing people who came in after me got their food and my order is still not ready!!!!! The girl told me: who dining in get their food first…!!!! That is so rude — the false is from the owner of this restaurant if they come up with this rules—- I came in and ordered first and have to wait because the dining get their food first!!! I don’t care how good is their Pho….. this is my first time and will be my last….., such a waist of my...
