The restaurant is very small, had a takeout window and it was a bit warm inside. The lady that worked in front was very nice and attentive. There were four of us and I ordered iced tea and we ordered crispy pork pineapple fried rice as an appetizer to share between the four of us. I wish places would offer crispy pork just as a side and not as an entree. Sometimes you want just enough to share amongst the table but not eat as your entree. My friends had the iced Thai tea with green tea. I ordered the yellow curry, hubby had Tom Yum, a friend had Tom Kha with chicken and the other one had Pad See Eww with tofu. The Tom Yum soup with chicken was sweet tasting. My hubby did not really care for it. I tasted it and it almost tasted like the sauce from a can of Spaghettios. We eat this dish so the time at other places and here it was just not right. My friend loved his Tom Kha soup with chicken as the coconut killed the Spaghettios tasting sauce. The crispy pork pineapple fried rice had a great kick to it but not enough crispy pork on it. The flavor was good though. They did not offer hot pots for the soups only bowls. The yellow curry was flavorful and came with white rice. My only complaint was the portion size being smaller than other places we go and was priced a little more. Pad See Ewe was very good and my friend enjoyed it. The Thai iced tea green tea smoothies were good and a decent size, but over $15 for 2. My iced tea tasted good but I was never offered a refill and it was served in a to-go plastic cup. Our total before tip was $91. Way too pricey and we didn't even have leftovers, except for the soup my husband didn't like. I know this place is newer, but not sure if we will return. Too pricey, small portions, lack of air conditioning, and my hubby's soup not...
Read moreI will never come here again. I ordered on their website for a pickup order. Then I arrived, took my order, and went back home. I opened up the package, and what I ordered was not inside. It was supposed to come with a vegetable spring roll, instead, it came with cream cheese wontons, which I despise. I called the restaurant, and they first told me I was wrong and itt doesn't come with that. So I told them they may want to log on to their own website to see what it says it comes with. Once they did that, they said oh sorry I'm going to take it down now it was wrong. I said no problem, just refund me what an egg roll cost. They refuse to do that. I explained to them that if they're going to have me pay for something in advance and write down the words of what I am paying for, I'm going to expect to receive exactly what those words say. If the restaurant makes a mistake, they should own up to the mistake. The fact that this place admitted they were wrong and would not do anything to make up for it shows horrific customer service. I cannot spend money at a place like that which lacks so much integrity. I'll change my review if they ever decide to financially reimburse me for their mistake.
Update from later that same day: after reading my review, they chose...
Read moreMy family and I had the best time during our first visit! We came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and dined al fresco on their cute outdoor patio. Based on other reviews, we initially assumed that we needed to order and pick up our food from their takeout window, but Sarah came to our table and checked on us often.
We chose various dishes and drinks, with me getting my usual chicken Pad Thai and Thai iced tea. Everyone enjoyed their food, and there were no complaints. However, the most pleasant surprise came at the end of our meal when Chef Max stopped by to ask about our experience.
We shared that we had a lovely time, and while chatting, he mentioned that it was only his fifth day working at the restaurant. He also does magic as a hobby and offered to show us a few tricks, which we excitedly accepted. Lunch and a free show?! Say no more!
Chef Max was so entertaining and engaging, and his sleight of hand with cards and rubber bands was very impressive! We had fun taking turns assisting with his performance and appreciated his efforts to interact with his guests. We even got to keep one of his cards!
For those planning to visit, I hope you get a chance to not only enjoy the food but also meet Chef Max and...
