Birrieria El Guero — Restaurant in Huntington Park

I have been here for years. The employees are really nice and so is the owner. His mother and father also sometimes work in the restaurant. It's used to be a great mom & pops restaurant. The birria is well seasoned and tender.

However, the owner seems to have this new supervisor who goes around the restaurants and tallies the sales and other manager duties. This supervisor is the worst. This man talked down at a friend and I because we asked if my 9 year old could use the restroom. He said they don't allow people in their restroom, but another customer was just let in. He let an older person pass, but not a child. I let him know the owner has let us in use the restroom in past visits. This man told us with a smirk, "Well, do you see the owner now? It is not my problem." Just plain rude, just for that, I don't think I will return. I don't give my money to places that treat their patrons in a rude matter. If he is like this to the customers, I can imagine how he is with the employees...

The food was great! I got a 3/4 of a pound of the birria seca. It came with free big conzome. Overall it was good the tortillas man some ppl weren’t lying when they said they aren’t the best, but I ain’t gonna complain since they came free. I do have to say it did caught me of guard the prices are not updated. The sign said it was $25 but I was charged $27.5 so that is 2.50 extra but I mean it may not be much but yeah still not cool in my perspective.
